My husband and I were to stay sunday night into wednesday night. We had car trouble so I called just to let them know we were going to be late. To our surprise they gave our room away. It was not even check in time yet. They wanted to give us another room saying that our original room was "gross... More

We loved this place very lovely. The fireplaces were going the day we were here so we soaked up some of the warmth in comfy arm chairs. We arrived a bit earlier than expected and the older gentleman said we couldn't check in until 4pm...so since we had been around town and had lunch already, we sat in the front... More

We stayed two nights at the hotel Colorado for a business/couples trip and it was interesting. The hotel staff is very professional and helpful but if you are looking for an updated hotel this is not the place. It is extremely old, like creepy haunted feel old, and the rooms are decorated era specific. This is a blast from the... More

The room I had was a queen (#352) and despite other reviews - my bath was large, and the room was clean. True the furniture is more reminiscent of the 70's that the early 1900's, but that's understandable. There is no air conditioning, but a ceiling fan and a box fan for the window - I had no problems. Bed... More

Our organization occasionally holds two day meetings at the Hotel Colorado, and our April meeting was outstanding as usual. From our initial planning with Meghan to our check out, everything was handled very professional and smoothly. The entire staff is as friendly, helpful and detail attentive as any I’ve worked with. I specifically asked our attendees what they thought of... More

My son and I did a one night quick trip to Glenwood and stayed at the Hotel Colorado. We loved the history and the general theme of the hotel. It is close to everything. We walked to the Springs Theater for the Vaudeville Show. If get a chance you should check it out. It was a blast and my 11... More

We just came back from a 3 night stay at Hotel Colorado, which we enjoyed. Even though our room had no coffee maker, refrigerator, a.c., etc., the bathroom is real tiny (no fan) we still liked our room. The room overlooked the courtyard. It was very quiet throughout our stay. We slept great, beds were comfortable enough. Excellent housekeeping service.... More

We stayed at the hotel colorado for a birthday weekend. We wanted something unique and with a bit of character and decided to give it a go. Location is awesome, you are a short walk across the pedestrian bridge to downtown Glenwood and steps away from the hot springs pool. The train station too. The hotel exterior is beautiful and... This place costs more than most lodging in Glenwood Springs, and for the rich history and to learn about the old spirits that still wander around the place, I thought it would be worth it. It was not. I could have visited the hotel, like a museum, and not gone through a night of discomfort and creaky floors. The bed... More
