This place is antiquated in the worst way. The bathrooms are horrible, the service in the restaurant is despicable, rooms are overpriced, and management is a joke. Take your money to the hotel denver or literally anywhere else.

Mom is 87 yrs. young and living at The Gardens in Littleton, CO. Our youngest sister, from Littleton, found this old, historic hotel and two more sisters flew into Denver for a girls getaway. We booked the two 'disabled' rooms on the main floor & celebrated in the large private foyer outside our doors.

We knew the Hotel Colorado was past its prime when we booked it. Consequently we could forgive its blemishes such as patches of color missing in the carpet where a spot remover was used. Instead we found the old tile floors in the bathroom charming. The suite was spacious and the hotel was an easy walk to the springs.

The pictures make it look like it is an old hotel that has been maintained well, but it was falling apart. There were gaps around our door with let in lots of light and noise at night. the floors are very loud and we could here every person in the hallway, not to mention they put us right across the... Ellegant victorian rooms and furnishings. The lobby was fantastic. The room we had was on the first floor and it was very large. Very high ceilings. I'm not sure if the rest of the rooms are that size but we were very happy with ours. It is a very old hotel and has some wear but is really a great... More

My daughter, her two children (7 months and 2 years) and I shared a room for one night, November, 2014. We stayed on the second floor in a corner room. My sister and her husband were across the hall. What a neat old hotel. We stayed on a Monday night and they had a small band playing in the lobby.... More

Our family stayed one night in the Hotel Colorado in adjoining rooms that shared a bathroom, a very helpful arrangement for a travelling family. It is a beautiful, gracious old hotel from a time when travel was a different experience, and it is good to see that a team of people are working hard to preserve it. It is not... More

Beautiful hotel, HUGE rooms. Water pressure in shower was awful and random people start playing the piano in the lobby EARLY in the morning. They should put a sign on it and not allow that as it woke us up on the first floor. Would stay again though, maybe not on first floor.

Dear guest, Thank you for staying with us. I will definitely have our engineering department check the pressure on that room. We do have a sign on the piano to respect the privacy of others and not to play after 10 PM. Thank you for bringing this up and we will add the AM hours also. More

I just stayed there for three nights in October and there was truly an old world charm about the Hotel - from the tall wood pillars around the lobby, to the two large stone fireplaces, to the old elevator which barely fits 2 people with luggage. The room, a suite made of several rooms, was nothing short of warm, quaint... More

A friend and I stayed here for two nights. We opted to stay in the original old hotel rather than the new part. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom is small as one would expect in an old hotel. There is wi-fi. Lobby takes you back in time, and has various seating areas. The hotel... More
