My husband and I stayed for 3 days at Hotel Colorado. The service was wonderful, the food was excellent and the Hotel was glorious. It is not a new, all the bells and whistles hotel. It has comfy beds, flat screen TV and a very serene feel to it. It is very much a get away. It does not have... more

The Hotel Colorado is for anyone who wants to while away their vacation in a beautiful mountain setting. The hotel itself is old and admittedly the rooms are shockingly in need of modernization. Our room featured two beds, a large closet, a flatscreen television, and a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping. The bathroom... more

Our family stayed 2 nights and 3 days at Hotel Colorado and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was exceptional with our transportation, room, meals we ate at Baron's Restaurant. We found the history of the hotel to be another wonderful highlight of our stay. All in all, we were greeted and treated in the most personal manner and... more

OK, let me explain: we were railroaded but we really enjoyed the experience. RMA has a 3-day travel package from Denver to Glenwood Springs and back on Amtrak and it was great! But then, we love trains. Upon arrival we were met at the station by a hotel shuttle even though the short walk with wheeled luggage would have been... more

My 2 teenage sons and I spent a portion of Spring Break at Hotel Colorado. It has been a family tradition of ours for years. This year we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with an adjoining livingroom and balcony. The suite was in great condition, the beds were very comfortable, and the boys loved having a flat-screen TV in... more

We were terribly disappointed with our stay at the Hotel Colorado. Our experience started with an interminable wait at check-in, as the check-in clerk is also forced to answer phone calls, leaving us all waiting while she takes another reservation. The desk clerks were pretty much useless when it came to information. When asked how we could order movies in... more

We have stayed at Hotel Colorado many times. We love to take our family vacations to Glenwood Springs and spend time in the Hot Springs. Hotel Colorado has the best location for walking young children across the street to the pool and the rooms have been clean and comfortable. After traveling to Glenwood for the past 13 years, we have... more

New years eve at the hotel was awesome. Fire works, strolling bands, steam from hot springs across the street, an incredible feast and the music of Jon Chandler and Christmas decorations second to none made for a truely memorable evening. Atmosphere, world class food, and friendly people...what more can one ask for!! more

My Mom comes to visit me each year and I wanted to do something special this time. We booked a suite at the Hotel Colorado and we could not have had a better time! The rooms were wonderful, especially the beds! I especially love staying in old hotels, feeling a part of the history, and this one is now at... more
