I want to thank Paul, the Beverage Service Manager for our wonderful bottle of champagne in recognition of our wedding. We had an afternoon wedding then drove to Glenwood Springs. We didn't arrive until late. We sat outside and had a wonderful meal and then received a gift of champagne! Thank you for recognizing our wonderful day.

My boyfriend and I went on a 2 day getaway to Glenwood Springs. On the morning of our trip to the Hot Springs pool we decided to stop by the Legends coffee shop, located in the Hotel Colorado, based on the recommendation of the hotel clerk we were staying at (not the Hotel Colorado). When we entered the shop there... More

I realize this hotel is located in Colorado and it is a very old and historic hotel; however, when the outside temperatures are in the upper 90's and you have no A/C, it makes for a miserable night trying to sleep with only a box fan moving the hot air around! In addition, the hotel has a musty unclean smell... More

We spent two nights at the Hotel Colorado this past weekend. We were there with friends who had married earlier in the day. This historic property is clean and comfortable. The grounds are pretty and well-maintained and the location is great. The big plus at this hotel is the staff. To a person, they were helpful and friendly. The beverage... More

Yeah, this place is a historic landmark. Very cool, majestic, lots of famous people have stayed here. Great location. Beds are comfortable. Nice veranda and patio; big hallways with high ceilings. Here are the down sides: Tiny, slow elevator. Nothing is included, and they nickle and dime you for everything. Don't expect complimentary coffee in the lobby. The rooms are... More

The antique furniture is stained, threadbare, and decaying. The carpets are stained and dirty, the curtains ripped and old. The "popcorn" textured ceilings and exposed pipes give the rooms and corridors an outdated and derelict ambiance. The Hotel Colorado was not even close to what we anticipated from the website and brochures. It needs some major deep cleaning and restoration... More

We stayed after a long train trip from Denver - the furniture, ambiance and age of the hotel were the positives - the non-air conditioned room when it was 95 degrees, TV that did not work, water faucets that would not shut off, 3 hours spent waiting for a cold dinner on the patio with horrible service and food totally... The Hotel Colorado is a an iconic, historic hotel, opened in 1893. It is beautiful outside and the grounds are quite attractive. If our room was any indication, however, the Hotel Colorado is in serious need of refurbishing. Our room was large and clean, but lacked charm. The furniture was scuffed and worn. The socket plate behind the bed was... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us. I appreciate your feedback on your stay. I will get with engineering and address some of those issues in your room. We realize that no A/C can be an issue on some of the hotter summer nights. The hotel provides fan's in all the guest rooms which will normally cool off the... More

We booked a room while traveling from Lake Powell for one night and were told parking was available for the boat we were towing. When we arrived we were told we would have to park two blocks away from the hotel as there was no boat or RV parking at the hotel. After checking in we found the hotel lobby... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. As an 125 year old historic hotel we understand that the room configurations are not the same as they build them today and bathrooms and closets were not of the same size as they are today. I will speak with the staff also regarding trailer parking since that is not ample during the... More
