Our first ski trip in Colorado was great. Summit Inn is centrally located so we were easily able to enjoy several slopes. It has limited frills but we were only there to sleep as we were always on the road. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and staff very friendly. almost perfect. nice location: close to highway, ski rental shops, safeway grocery store, wal-mart. nice restaurants to dine in at downtown frisco area. the only negative is the rooms are awfully dry from the heat and they lack humidifiers. more

Spent a weekend shredding at Breckenridge and Copper in April 2006. The summit inn was a great lodging option that was convenient to both mountains. The place was nicer than most chain hotels at this price point. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and after a day of boarding the hot tub was a nice option.... more

The Summit Inn is located in Frisco right off of I-70. It's a fairly small, basic kind of place that appears to be good base for activities.
