When we booked our stay at the Woods Inn, location was key because my husband and I were planning on skiing at Copper Mountain and doing some outdoor activities in the mountains. Maybe this is what we were paying for. The outdoor hot tub was nice, but our room wasn't the greatest. We were able to glance at one of... More

It was late late at night and snowing heavily on I -70. I did want to get to Denver but my wife was not wanting to drive through the snow. While our GPS showed lots of places to stay overnight - no one picked up our phone. Not only did Kathleen at The Woods Inn picked up our call -... More

I've stayed at the Woods Inn five times now since I moved out of Frisco in 2009. My stays range from weekend visits to professional trainings in Vail. This is a fabulous place, I love 'my' room, the Venetian. It is so relaxing! Aside from the 'usual' excellent value, clean, quiet, comfortable, Kathleen and Tony went above and beyond this... More

The whole Inn has some nice character. Doesn't seem so put-on like many of the places around. We just wanted a quiet clean place with a hot shower, and we got it here. We were there to ski. We had room 400c. The ceiling was so high they could add a loft, but as it is now it just adds... More

The reviews are accurate when they speak of the eclectic decor that is random and makes no sense. The decor of our room was scattered with french impressionist aritist and winne the pooh? The mattresses are horrid, worst night's rest ever. The mattress was like a bag of marshmellows that caused you to roll to the center, they are not... More

What a nice place and great staff! Kathleen, Steve and Larry made us feel very welcome. This place is highly recommended for extended families. Wife and I were on a scouting mission to find a home-base for a week of Copper Mountain skiing at Christmas. There are nine of us with kids and spouses. The suites at Woods Inn open... More

The gentlmen that runs the place is just wonderful. Very accommodating, and very cheap in price! We sat by the warm fire and me very heart warming people! Definitely worth stopping and near main street with great restaurants More

Perfect for spending time in the mountains. They are nestled in Frisco, just off I-70 and a half block from the main street and fabulous dining. Great views, clean and quiet with the most helpful staff I have ever encountered. Highly recommend. They are also pet friendly. More
