The cottage was very excellent. The atmosphere was great. The host were very friendly and kind. We felt absolutely welcomed. The room itself was great had everything we needed and the surrounding view was nice. Would recommend to anyone to stop by and give it a stay. We will definitely return in the future.

We stayed in one of the cottages for a week as we had been to a wedding at West Tower. The cottage had everything needed for a comfortable stay, was very reasonably priced and our hosts were very welcoming. The cottages are conveniently located for attending an event at the West Tower and for visiting Liverpool and Southport.

Friends and I came here for a girls weekend and what a lovely place. Perfect location on the edge of a village and only 30 mins by car to Liverpool. Accommodation is top notch , well equipped and very clean. Lovely grounds and would make a great place for kids. Would love to come back.

"My family and I have stayed with Lin and Stan on a few occasions over the past couple of years and I would not consider staying anywhere else whilst visiting Lancashire. In November 2013 we stayed in Red Squirrel cottage for 2 non-consecutive weeks and as per our previous stays, Lin and Stan made us feel like family. The cottage... More

Stayed at these cottages with my 11 year old grand-daughter for a last minute 2 night break. The only way to describe them is excellent. The owners are so welcoming & nothing is too much trouble for them. Will definitely be paying them a second visit.

My son and I wanted a base from which to explore Liverpool, Manchester, Blackpool and North Wales. We found an excellent base in Cross Farm Cottages. Although we had the smallest of the cottages, Natterjack, it was so well designed there was plenty of space for the two of us. The cottage was well equipped and modern. Cleanliness was of... More

We had a wonderful time in Lin and Stan's cottage. They are the best hosts you can imagine. Going the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and at home. They even provided a wheelchair for our son who had a sports accident the day before our arrival. And they found the nearest local pub showing the Championsleague semi final... More

Well done Lin and stan, you have created the perfect balance of cleanliness coupled with accessibility. We stayed here for a wedding nearby and were made to feel most welcome. We rented all three units and I can say hand on heart all 3 were most excellently kitted out, warm spacious and well thought out. If I had to critique... More
