If we hadn’t made reservations for 5 nights, we would move to another campground. This KOA has: 32 cabins 100+ RV sites Multiple tent sites A month or so before we were coming here, we emailed the campground asking if they were interested in our band playing music there. We received no response. So when we made reservations on-line, we... More

We were on a trip with our son's Boy Scout troop. Rented a lodge that sleeps 8. The cabin was dirty, the queen bed in the private room was so uncomfortable that we got very little sleep, and the shower drain was backed up so you didn't feel clean. For what I paid per night, I could have stayed in... More

We stayed in a Kabin. It's always a crap shoot with KOAs; some are wonderful, others absolute dogs. This one was the best appointed we have been to. A large number of Kabins of all sizes, tent sites with carport like shelters to protect occupiers from sun and rain, and a first: a communal kitchen. The kitchen was under a... More

We're so glad you enjoyed staying with us during your recent vacation! We do our best to keep up with the entire campground and provide our guests with amenities they will enjoy. Wireless internet is something we continue to improve upon but will always run into issues with during busy weekends when our guests try to stream video or play... More

We stayed here on a whem. I felt it was a safe park. Its family and dog friendly w/ lots to do; has a nice pool and hot tub. Has 3 equine panel pens & small covered 4-pole lean-to area to put hay. Our experience was good here. Has 2 pet areas, fenced and lighted at night; pet area has... More

This place was horrible. So many goat heads that our dog couldn't walk 5 feet without going lame. Someone was parked in our site (unregistered) and the staff didn't move their camper so we paid $40 for 1/2 of a site. Pool was filthy. Worst KOA. Don't waste your money.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. While we do our best to keep the campground as clean as possible, there are a few things we cannot control. One of those bring the 'goat heads' you describe. They are rarely an issue though, except on very windy days. We do apologize if someone was parked in... More

We were traveling through Colorado Springs and found this KOA- It was a nice surprise and stayed again the next time through. Courteous staff- Bathrooms under remodel so didn't use them. The area was nice and easy access off the Interstate. The park was clean with a nice view of the river.

We had a good 2 day stay there at the KOA in Colorado Springs. We were trying out an RV from just down the street, so the location couldn't have been better. All facilities we used were great. Some of the park was closed due to renovation, but that really didn't affect us. Kudos!

Fun place to go for a short trip. Live in the springs, but go there for a fast getaway. Real friendly staff and lots of room to stroll with pets. Just wish the train would not blow whistle. Really good pizza and ice cream social.

Of course … we live here in the Springs, so we use this as our quick get away camp. However, we always are made to feel welcome. It's fun to watch the kids right the hay wagon, the dog runs are great and clean, and overall this is one of the best KOA's around.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Imagine waking up to the beautiful view of Pikes Peak (14,115 feet above sea level), the most visited mountain in North America. Visit Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds (try the Bat-a-Pult ride!) And other area attractions. Stay in a fully equipped Cabin, pitch a tent or pull into an RV site (including extra-large sites). If you are planning a rally or family reunion, this KOA has a hall for those scrumptious potlucks, or have them catered by the staff. During the summer, enjoy a dip in the heated pool or relax in the hot tub. Dont feel like cooking? Try the all-you-can-eat pancakes for breakfast or a homemade pizza or tasty barbecue plate for dinner. Pets will have a great time being with their families, meeting new dogs, running in the dog park or trying out the agility park. There are three horse corrals for your larger pets. With so many things to do at KOA and in the area, you will want to stay as long as you can! The campground staff looks forward to seeing you. ... more   less
