Let me start out by saying this review is about our 4 night stay in a deluxe RV site... We stay at a ton of KOA's, and this has been one of the best outfitted KOA'S we've been to. First off, the General Store has a ton of things... nearly everything you might need that you may have forgotten, including... More

My boyfriend and I just stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. The cabin was perfect for us since we flew in from the east coast. We perfer a more homey feel when away as opposed to a hotel. The staff at this campground went out of their way to insure we enjoyed our stay.Especially helpful were the managers Mike... More

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Staff was helpful for finding our way around. We rented a camper cabin. It was very clean and had cold ac. The shared bathrooms were clean. If you rent a cabin or get a site, make sure its on the South-East Side of the campground near the creek because I-24 a major highway... More

Very clean, well kept campground. We stayed in a Deluxe cabin. It was very cozy and had all of the amenities. The kids rented bikes and had a great time riding them all over the campground. The pool was warm and clean. The staff were all friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The only recourse you have with management whose style is so unprofessional is to leave a review that conveys your experience in hopes that nobody else will have the same experience. I don't know how the managers, Mike & Belinda Daly, who used to clean at another KOA got promoted to managing this KOA but they did. They absolutely have... More

The campground was well maintained and had nice activities for families. The pool was a little small for busy weekends, but nice and a comfortable temperature. There were a lot of things to do on the campgrounds as well. The shower pressure at the main shower house was pathetic. The washing machines are frequently busy and that may have contributed... More

If we hadn’t made reservations for 5 nights, we would move to another campground. This KOA has: 32 cabins 100+ RV sites Multiple tent sites A month or so before we were coming here, we emailed the campground asking if they were interested in our band playing music there. We received no response. So when we made reservations on-line, we... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Please accept our apologies for the lack of response to your inquiry about playing at the campground. Often times our staff does not see the comments section until we go through the arrivals on the day guests check-in. We'll pass along your concerns with water pressure and with our... More

We were on a trip with our son's Boy Scout troop. Rented a lodge that sleeps 8. The cabin was dirty, the queen bed in the private room was so uncomfortable that we got very little sleep, and the shower drain was backed up so you didn't feel clean. For what I paid per night, I could have stayed in... More

We stayed in a Kabin. It's always a crap shoot with KOAs; some are wonderful, others absolute dogs. This one was the best appointed we have been to. A large number of Kabins of all sizes, tent sites with carport like shelters to protect occupiers from sun and rain, and a first: a communal kitchen. The kitchen was under a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Imagine waking up to the beautiful view of Pikes Peak (14,115 feet above sea level), the most visited mountain in North America. Visit Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds (try the Bat-a-Pult ride!) And other area attractions. Stay in a fully equipped Cabin, pitch a tent or pull into an RV site (including extra-large sites). If you are planning a rally or family reunion, this KOA has a hall for those scrumptious potlucks, or have them catered by the staff. During the summer, enjoy a dip in the heated pool or relax in the hot tub. Dont feel like cooking? Try the all-you-can-eat pancakes for breakfast or a homemade pizza or tasty barbecue plate for dinner. Pets will have a great time being with their families, meeting new dogs, running in the dog park or trying out the agility park. There are three horse corrals for your larger pets. With so many things to do at KOA and in the area, you will want to stay as long as you can! The campground staff looks forward to seeing you. ... more   less
