This is a quaint and wonderful hotel perfectly located to enjoy Ft. Collins. We drove up to Lory State Park and spent one day at the Rocky Mountain National Park in addition to enjoying the downtown area by the hotel. The restaurants located in the bottom floor of the hotel are good, and there are so many in walking distance.... More

Great location in the heart of Ft. Collins. One downside is the train that goes through around 5:ish a.m. and the street sweeper shortly thereafter. Deafening and alarming. I suggest getting a room not facing collège street. The jazz bar is incredible and we even had a special visit from the kitty! We will stay again, but on the back... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Armstrong! We were in 314, the vintage signature king suite.....very big! It includes kitchen, dining, large living area as well as good size bathroom. Bed was comfy and the room very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location cannot be beat!!! Everything was within walking distance. Lots of shopping and restaurants right out... More

Fantastic location for what I would call a boutique hotel. All of downtown Ft. Collins night life & eateries are within walking distance. The rooms are impeccably clean. Free parking is available. The Armstrong does not offer breakfast, but have some very legitimate discount & freebie offers from nearby restaurants. There is an excellent jazz club on the lower level,... More

Great location and very cute. It was very clean and the beds were high quality. The linens and towels were nice as well. Def. the best hotel in Ft. Collins. You will park your car and leave it as you can walk to many great restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend!!!

We have stayed in The Armstrong before, but I have to say that room 310 is my new favorite. Facing the side road, not on College, so it was quieter. Had a sitting room, with microwave, fridge, TV, and sofa bed. It also had a great shower with double shower heads. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I... More

Spent the first week of July in Ft. Collins and stayed at the Armstrong. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. Considered a cheaper hotel for this stay but the ease of being able to walk to everything in Old Town brought us back to the Armstrong. Once we were parked we didn't move our vehicle for the rest... Old hotel that is modernized but has the old charm. Very different and enjoyable. They will give a white noise machine if you need it, but we had no trouble with noise. We were not on the street side or next to the elevator. There are restaurants downstairs and the location is right downtown and there are lots of shops,... More

This is by far the best hotel in Fort Collins because of the location. It's not fancy, the beds are comfortable, and it has historical charm. There is a cat at the front desk that stinks up the whole place, so be careful if you are allergic.

The location of the hotel is right where all of the action is. Very cute little boutique hotel. Hard wood floors, cast iron best, an air conditioning unit, small wooden desk and vintage looking lamps. No closet in the room I stayed in. I was in a queen bedroom. The room had a large bathroom and plenty of towel. The... More
