I was in town on a business trip, and it was really nice to stay in a clean, unique hotel that isn't the same as every other hotel. The hotel has a lot of character, but still has all the amenities of a modern hotel. The location was wonderful. We were able to walk to everything we needed. There is... more

We love staying at the Armstrong Hotel any chance we get. Every room is unique and they have the most comfortable mattresses ever! This hotel is so charming and perfect for a romantic get away. If you have a room that looks out onto the street it can be a little noisy because it's right in the middle of downtown,... more

Stayed here one night as part of a swing through northern Colorado. Main reason for stopping in Ft Collins was to visit three breweries: New Belgium, Odells, Ft Collins (see below). Hotel is in perfect location for bars, restaurants, etc. in downtown Ft Collins. Room was small, but had a very nice queen bed and big TV. A/C in the... more

I stayed here for a friends wedding in June 09". I thought the hotel had a lot of character and was within walking distance to all of shops, bars, etc of Old Town. Room was a small and very simple and a little expensvie. But if you are looking for place in Old Town with old world chram than this... more

We were traveling with three of our children (teenagers) and a 10 year old niece. When booking the rooms we did have some special needs, such as an accessible bathroom. We found the young lady on the phone to be extremely helpful, and booked the exact rooms (numbers) that we requested. One was a modern room and the other was... more

Possibly the best hotel I have been to. Perfect location, terrific staff, wonderful ammenities and a classic 1920-1930's decor and style throughout. The hotel is located right in the middle of everything on the main street. Next door is a yummy coffee shop and next to that a sandwich shop that was always packed. The staff was so helpful and... more

I went to Ft. Collins for work and a local friend recommended Armstrong. It's in the middle of the old downtown and they have done a really nice job renovating. It's very charming and the staff is nice. You may experience some outside noise and there isn't a lot of buffer between room noise. It didn't bother me, but some... more

Our stay at the Armstrong Hotel was really great. I loved the style of the hotel, it was a great mix of vintage and modern. The design was spot on. We enjoyed the rental bikes and the great location to walk around Old Town. more

Really cool rooms, great location (smack in the middle of old town), and reasonable rates. The staff is great, and there is a coffee shop adjacent to the lobby, plus cafes galore nearby. Have stayed there for business and they have all the things you'd need. Forget Best Western, etc., stay here. more

The hotel is very nice. The location is unbeatable with the hotel right on College Ave in the heart of Old Town. It has been recently redone and updated, so everything inside is very nice. The only real issue we had with the hotel was the proximity of the train. The train runs less than 100 yards from the hotel... more
