We stayed with friends here because we had booked the dinner train trip into the Royal Gorge. We were also traveling with a small Yorkie dog. We arrived early and wanted to enjoy the hot tub with our friends because the afternoon was beautiful. Bob checked us in early, recommended and good lunch place, and later provided ice and glasses... We always stay in B&B's when we travel, and sometimes just to get away. The Florence Rose is a wonderful and special place. We were traveling with two special needs dogs (one of them diabetic) and the innkeepers could not have been more accommodating. Their pet-friendly room is the old "summer kitchen" of the house, so is separate, yet part... More

What a fantastic experience it was, staying at the Florence Rose. A beautiful house, pleasant grounds, warm and friendly hosts, exceptional food; you name the element, and it was top notch. Go there when you're ready for a really special B&B.

We spent a night for just a little getaway. Bob and Barb, the owners are incredible! They make you feel like family. They are so warm and welcoming. The house is beautifully kept and has a really neat history. We stayed in the Yvonne room, it was lovely. Bob and Barb gave great recommendations for the area. The breakfast was... More

Stayed last week in Garden Room - with my two boys aged 7 and 11. Really enjoyed the three course breakfast...fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, granola....oh, then the breakfast. Coffee was strong and plentiful. Boys loved the outside hot tub...had a chance to sit and watch thunderstorms roll on by. Overall property is beautiful....Really enjoyed the other guests during our visit.... More

There's no better place to stay near Colorado Springs than Florence Rose B&B. Bob & Barb Ricigliano were the best hosts for our 3 days/nights with 3 other couples we vacationed with in Colorado over Labor Day week in Sept-2013. We got great recommendations, from them, of places to go and things to do in the area. We'll definitely return... More

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Florence Rose. Innkeepers Barb and Bob gave us the grand tour when we arrived. Their suggestions for dining and entertainment were spot on. The room was comfy, the food delicious, and their company was superb. Go ahead treat yourself to this little get-away!

We loved our stay at the Florence Rose. Barb and Bob were fabulous hosts and shared lots of interesting information about the house and area. We had the Garden Room (the old summer kitchen) which is located in the back of the property right off the patio and hot tub gazebo. From the house to the grounds, it is all... More

We had the whole house for 3 days to celebrate our 50th. with our boys and their families. There were 12 of us, and that is the number of people the house can sleep. The rooms and the house were clean and the beds comfortable and if you like antiques the house is full of them. The Terry cloth robes... More

Although we live less than an hour away from Florence, we decided to celebrate our anniversary at the Florence Rose B & B. What a great decision that was! The rooms are lovely in the historical home and the innkeepers' attention to detail was evident everywhere you looked. Breakfast was almost too good (is that possible?) and we left with... More
