Stranded on I-70 this past weekend because of blizzard. Got a room at Little England and woke up in the night with bed bugs on the sheets. Absolutely unacceptable and gross. Shame to pay $$$ to deal with bed bugs. I called hotel to inform them and they did not even attempt to apologize.

I was driving across country with my wife and kids this last July, and we stopped in at the Loaf and Jug to buy gasoline late one Saturday night. The gas station was booming and as I stood there filling up on gas I looked over tower the front of the gas station and a pick-up truck pulled up depositing... More

I've often said, when traveling, the only thing I expect from a room for the night is a bed, a shower, and a TV. That's what you get at Little England for about $48. Not even a room phone. For me, this was the perfect stop. If you are all about the bells and whistles, free breakfast, etc. etc., don't... More

Took a thanksgiving trip from Columbia, MO to Denver, CO. After stopping in Flagler for a coffee to get through the last 200 miles a belt in the engine broke. Luckily there is also a mechanic there. Hotel lobby/office is the living space for the owner and family, and had three dogs and strong cigarette smell. Two people in the... More

The nastiest motel I have ever stayed in! The outside looks ok, but once you get in the room.......the door wouldn't lock, car air freshners hanging from the ceiling, no bathroom door, the carpet was sick, I could go on and on!

I was very impressed with this little motel. The rooms are tiny and very basic, but well-maintained and *extremely* clean. The price was reasonable and the lady in the office was very helpful and kind. It is just feet away from the c-store, auto service, and the amazing I-70 Diner. We had a tire blowout this week on our way... More
