Spent three nights at this lovely B&B over Thanksgiving weekend. We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage and we were very comfortable! Breakfasts were great every morning, served in a connecting hall, at your convenience. Two words.....HAM BALLS...they were FABULOUS. So good I bought the cookbook. This inn has a lovely creek in front and is in walking distance to Bears... More

We were in Golden, Colorado for business and decided to stay in Evergreen. We were lucky in choosing Highland Haven Creekside Inn. The inn is historical and nicely appointed. Our room was a good kind of cozy :) We rented some movies, got a bottle of red wine ... a perfect way to unwind after business meetings. We enjoyed a... More

This was our third visit to Highland Haven and as always we were delighted with our stay. We always take our two grand kids to a pre Christmas getaway and decided this would be a special and fun place for them. They were so impressed going into our suite and seeing a personal welcome message and fresh flowers. There was... More

If you are looking for a romantic getaway not too far out from Denver, this is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and professional. We stayed in one of the creek side cabins. It was really nice and well equipped. Loved the gas fired stove heater, the front porch and the adorondeck chairs out by the... More

I was in Golden on business for the month of October and early November. My first 3 weeks were at the Hampton Inn and 2 Marriots. I decided to try something different - away from the highways and up in the mountains. It was about 30min into Golden every day but it was worth it. This is a nice hidden... More

I attended a four day photography workshop here and I couldn't have been happier with the Highland Haven. It's honestly one of the best B&B's I've visited. The rooms are beautifully styled, with a warm and cozy feel. I was in love with everything from the bath products, to the comfort of the bed, to the super soft throw blanket... More

Location is great--30 minutes west of Denver. We visited all the attractions in the small towns as far west as Vail. We were fortunate to find this beautiful lodging tucked away in the town of Evergreen along a babbling creek. Our secluded stay was in Blue Spruce 2 which had a sitting room, fireplace, Jacuzzi and private patio. The accommodations... More

We started coming here 10 years ago when we stayed on our wedding night. We visited again and it will probably be our last time. The prices have gone up dramatically and for smaller space. Our room was too hot. One of our patio chairs was broken. Had I not seen it, and sat in it, I would have been... More

I appreciate your time and your suggestions as well. I know that Blake offered to change out the chairs and put two new ones up there, and as of Tuesday we have two new chairs up on the balcony, we take safety very seriously. We had a staff meeting about breakfast and keeping things hot and fresh, we do this... More

The Highland Haven was a gem in the middle of town, nestled at the base of the mountain. The only sound was that of the creek running just feet from our cabin. The staff was wonderful from check-in, to breakfast, to housekeeping. If you are looking for a mountain retreat that is close to town, this is the place to... More

We literally stumbled upon this beautiful slice of heaven while passing through Evergreen. We stopped in to look around and we fell in love without even having seen a room! We were only able to stay one night and it was fabulous! The entire staff are friendly, genuine and cater to your every need with a smile! Breakfast buffet was... More
