We normally prefer 4/5 star resorts so were not sure what to expect. HH did not disappoint. Great bedding, soft towels, very clean, fireplace in rooms (stayed in BlueSpruce2), private back patio, helpful staff, owner is charming, breakfast in the room is wonderful. The town is very close and equally charming. Relaxing, romantic, without roughing it. more

This was our first B&B experience and we could not have selected a better place!! We stayed in the Fireside Loft and did not want to leave the room except for the wonderful breakfast spread. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. Overall we loved our experience at this B&B and plan to go back every anniversary...after all... more

We spent four nights in the Creekside Cottage 1. Well, it's almost creek side (the creek is across the road) and it's not really a cottage, but more of a duplex with Creekside Cottage 2 on the other end of the building. Our stay started with a mouse (or other rodent) eating part of the chocolate placed on the bed... more

My wife & I stayed at this wonderful spot on a road trip through Colorado & neighbouring states. We absolutely loved it ! The setting was perfect, located by a nice little river. We had a fabulous room that was very cozy and very nicely decorated. Breakfasts were awesome ! Best of all was the staff. This is a family... more

The Highland Haven Creekside Inn was the perfect place to stay on our recent trip to Evergreen, CO, for a wedding. The staff greeted us enthusiastically while sharing the history of the Inn. They have owned and operated this exquisite place for nearly 30 years. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated and have luxurious bedding. It was a surprise for... more

The Highland Haven was so charming and comfortable. Clean and quiet room with plush furnishings. The staff was so nice and we loved the variety offered at breakfast. Cool nights close to the heavens with the sound of the running creek was calming. A lovely destination for anyone needing a restfull getaway. We enjoyed our stay there very much. more

Spent 8 fantastic days in Colorado from Ft.Collins to Big Thompson Canyon to Red Rocks to Salida to Buena Vista and on....unfortunately we spent one of them at Highland Haven in Evergreen. Found the rooms to be small and cramped, window didn't work, walls are paper thin and it was very noisy into the wee hours of the morning even... more

My husband and I stayed at this breath-taking inn with my three year old son. It was the perfect balance of romance for us, while being kid friendly too. The staff could not have made us feel anymore welcome. This is unlike any BB I have ever stayed at. The rooms attended to every detail, and included a wonderfully delicious... more

The reviews on this site and the press and photo samples on the Inn's website created an expectation for us that was quickly shot down upon our arrival. First, this is not what I would consider a B&B. It had the feel of a old and dated budget hotel without personalized service of any kind. The room we had (a... more

What can we say---it was the BEST! The BnB was clean, well maintained, the staff was A plus quality in a genuine way, and the breakfasts were yummy (you MUST HAVE the coffee)! My family (2 adults, 3 children under 4) had a super time here and look forward to our next visit. We are actually looking to move to... more
