Charming and cozy, the Inn emanates a peaceful tranquility that is due to the joyful and zen-like approach to life of owner, Vickie. But as a chef, the high point for me came at breakfast where my expectations were were met and exceeded! Vickie prepared a poached pear with fresh raspberry coulis and Greek yogurt with pomegranate seeds... Lovely! Pumpkin-infused... More

The Bears Inn B&B is a historic inn dating from the 1920s. It is rustic in nature with each of the inn's rooms meticulously decorated with a different theme. The gourmet morning breakfast is incredible. The outdoor hot tub lets you relax and enjoy the rocky mountain starry nights. The innkeeper is very friendly and accomodating. You will not be... More

We spend 5 nights at the Bear's Inn while in Evergreen for a family wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Vicky and Virginia were wonderful and went above and beyond meeting our requests for vegan/vegetarian breakfasts. They even put out vegan cookies for us!!! The rooms were nice and I loved the different themes. We were in the "Poet's Corner"... More

First time to a B&B and now I have high expectations. The rooms were all very nice with a different theme in each. Vicky the owner was so nice and friendly, she made an amazing breakfast for us and was so nice about dietary needs making special gluten free for me. We went hiking in the surrounding area that was... More

We stayed at the Bears Inn Bed and Breakfast for three nights to attend a wedding and spend some time in Colorado. Other members of family also stayed there. The experience was great. We did pay for the room upfront several months in advance. Check in was very efficient. Our room was the Garden Room which has a second bed.... More

This is a nice comfortable B&B. The rooms are generally small with small bathrooms, but they are manageable with comfortable beds. There is TV and wifi included. Vicky, the owner, was very conscientious about making sure that everyone in our party had their food preferences attended to for breakfast (we had every range of meat eater and vegetarian). Breakfast was... More

Vicki was a wonderful hostess/owner. She welcomed us warmly, gave us lots of options of things to do in the area, and even provided us with tickets to see a local show-- and fed us well! We will return.

This is a beautiful Inn with a very gracious hostess/owner. She also is a wonderful cook and the breakfasts were delightful. As we were travelling with a dog we stayed our 4 nights in the adjacent log cabin which was very comfortable and cozy. We were there for a jazz festival and the rest of our band was housed at... Our cozy room was nice. I love lots of windows. Our Nantucket room had lots of nice windows. Steve and I enjoyed our stay at The Bear Inn. All the rooms are nicely decorated. The breakfast was the best. Evergreen area is very pretty. Vicki is a very nice inkeeper. Thank you. Steve Nordstrom and Rita Bennett

Great expectations that are well-rewarded. Elk on the field below the patio after our amazing outdoor panorama breakfast. An amazingly well-appointed bed and breakfast. True to the genre beyond any other on our road trip across the Southwest National Parks into Evergreen. Vicky and her crew, including Sir Scott E. McDougal, provide truly amazing breakfasts, a variation of healthy and... More
