We stayed at the Bears Inn Bed and Breakfast for three nights to attend a wedding and spend some time in Colorado. Other members of family also stayed there. The experience was great. We did pay for the room upfront several months in advance. Check in was very efficient. Our room was the Garden Room which has a second bed.... More

This is a nice comfortable B&B. The rooms are generally small with small bathrooms, but they are manageable with comfortable beds. There is TV and wifi included. Vicky, the owner, was very conscientious about making sure that everyone in our party had their food preferences attended to for breakfast (we had every range of meat eater and vegetarian). Breakfast was... More

Vicki was a wonderful hostess/owner. She welcomed us warmly, gave us lots of options of things to do in the area, and even provided us with tickets to see a local show-- and fed us well! We will return.

This is a beautiful Inn with a very gracious hostess/owner. She also is a wonderful cook and the breakfasts were delightful. As we were travelling with a dog we stayed our 4 nights in the adjacent log cabin which was very comfortable and cozy. We were there for a jazz festival and the rest of our band was housed at... Our cozy room was nice. I love lots of windows. Our Nantucket room had lots of nice windows. Steve and I enjoyed our stay at The Bear Inn. All the rooms are nicely decorated. The breakfast was the best. Evergreen area is very pretty. Vicki is a very nice inkeeper. Thank you. Steve Nordstrom and Rita Bennett

Great expectations that are well-rewarded. Elk on the field below the patio after our amazing outdoor panorama breakfast. An amazingly well-appointed bed and breakfast. True to the genre beyond any other on our road trip across the Southwest National Parks into Evergreen. Vicky and her crew, including Sir Scott E. McDougal, provide truly amazing breakfasts, a variation of healthy and... More

This was a nice retreat and perfect place to stay while coming for a concert at the Red Rock Amphitheater. The town offers a lovely lake to stroll around and next door to the Inn is a wonderful Bistro. The breakfasts were very nice, as well as the host and the girls who came along to serve us. So glad... The wildlife and decor are enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic, healthy, homemade food. Good snacks and teas. Friendly staff. The main problem was the small size of the rooms and bathrooms. Nowhere to store clothes or luggage. Decorations were so plentiful they took up the small table spaces. I felt like I was in a doll house. Electrical outlets overused with... More

Bears Inn is a charming retreat. We arrived to find a warm welcome sign with our names on it. The rooms are inviting in a way that make you feel as if your are in a second home...and then you step into the main room where you'll find a dining table reserved just for your party for the next mornings... Forget the Sheratons, Marriotts etc. Drive a little further West when arriving in Denver and check this place out! Loaded with charm and history a true Colorado Landmark. Vicki never misses a detail! Your breakfast table has your name/s written on a ceramic placard making you feel welcome! There is also a restaurant within walking distance for dinner if your... More
