We just spent 2 nights at The Peck House as part of our Colorado vacation. We stayed in the Conservatory Room. The decor was dated and the bedding was fine, but not exceptional. After booking our night through hotels and gone skiing to winter park, we arrived to check in. Our 4 adult reservation and rate for the family room was not honored and we were asked to pay for 2 rooms instead. Never had a more comfortable night, good bed, clean room, antique furniture, no phone, no TV, quiet, charming decor, great view, claw footed bathtub, and the five star restaurant...wow. I found this place on my Honeymoon traveling to California. I love the Old West and what a splended suprise. The view was beautiful and the setting was perfect. The food was O.K., However, the bed was like a cheap trailor bed. It was so bad that we could not sleep and caused us much pain. I could never recommend that anyone stay there. I've stayed in places all across the U.S. and have never experienced anything close to this. Do not waste your money on this place. more
