We spent 2 days at this Residence Inn. It was very nice but overpriced for a Residence Inn. I guess they felt since they were in Durango they can get the price. They were a typical RI nothing more. Location was good but a long walk into town. Most people drove into town from here.

As I am a Marriott Gold Elite+ Member we were upgraded complimentarily to a 1 Bedroom Suite which was very nice. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet (nothing spectacular though). It was the standard of a Marriott hotel. It had a nice and friendly atmosphere, and was upgraded in some areas while some weren't. The breakfast was delicious and... More

We rented a two bedroom suite which was great for our family. We had two king beds, a sofa bed and one roll-away. Location has everything you need, a business center, a pool, a great breakfast and good parking.

This was the summer for our family of 5 to enjoy everything Durango has to offer. We all travel better when we have space to spread out and the Residence Inn did not disappoint with its 2 bedroom suite. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (two king beds...wish Marriott would give you a 1 king and 2 doubles), and a nice kitchen/living... Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in selecting local restaurants. Large king room that was very clean and comfortable. Hot and cold breakfast every morning with good selections. The hotel was very close to the Durango railroad. A little more expensive than I like to pay for a room or it would receive excellent marks.

Spent a couple of nights here at the end of June. Typical Residence Inn - no real surprises. All of the employees we encountered were polite and helpful, maintenance responded rather quickly to an issue we had in our room, our room and the hotel in general appeared to be clean, and breakfast was superb; both from a selection and... This Residence Inn is typical in many ways of others. It is located just west of town and a couple of blocks from the paved Animas River trail. The breakfast foods were frequently replenished and the staff very professional and helpful. The evening hostess was a little too intrusive but she also replenished everything frequently. The TV cable was cut... More

The Residence Inns part of the Marriott Chain of hotels seems to maintain high quality facilities and the one in Durango , Colorado is no different. The building seems to be adobe and has a southwestern feel from the outside and inside also. The rooms are comfortable with all the furniture (including comfortable beds!!) one might need for an extended... More

This is a very "average" property - definitely not what I would expect or have become accustomed to from a Residence Inn! The parking is TERRIBLE and not nearly enough, we were never less than across the parking lot to our room. The evening reception is definitely not up to par with other RI where they literally provide a "light... More

The local newspaper had an ad for help for the front desk at this hotel. Not sure who is hiring and the qualifications needed but how about a little less contempt for your guests? Is there a training program for these positions? Very disappointed with the attitude of the front deskers.
