The local newspaper had an ad for help for the front desk at this hotel. Not sure who is hiring and the qualifications needed but how about a little less contempt for your guests? Is there a training program for these positions? Very disappointed with the attitude of the front deskers.

I would highly recommend this hotel to friends, family and anyone needing lodging in Durango. Staff are very accommodating, friendly and professional. The whole property is very clean and well maintained. All the amenities were in order. Loved our spacious room with king sized comfortable bed and all the amenities you would expect from Residence Inn. Free breakfast was outstanding.

We stay here every year for a volleyball tournament and always have a great stay. They fufilled our room request without hesitation. The breakfast staff is amazing and very hospitable. We stay at a lot of RI'S and the breakfast staff here are the best! We will be back next year!

Great hotel. Great staff. Easy access to the attractions in and around Durango. Breakfast buffet is above average. Staff is very customer service oriented - outgoing and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet.

We looked a lot for the perfect hotel in Durango, and at the last minute changed to this hotel. It certainly met our expectations with our one bedroom suite with kitchen. The staff was really nice, and only a few minute drive to the downtown area. There also is an out door basketball hoop and tennis court. Breakfast was great--though... More

I go to Durango a lot. This location is very quiet but is just a bit out of town. You will need to drive to the downtown area. Don't walk, especially with little ones as you need to cross a very busy main road (550). The staff here are friendly and a great help. The kids will enjoy the pool... More

After a long trip this was an oasis. The rooms are large, we had the two bedroom suite. There are great laundry facilities. The staff is very friendly. The coffee is good. This is not a place to stay if you want to walk to town, but with a car it is easy. I chose it precisely as it was... More

been traveling for 10 days, All Marriott properties. This place has the best breakfast of anywhere. Attentive staff, exceptionally clean. Loved the room size. It's just great. The staff found our credit card outside in the parking lot and they called us to let us know. Didn't get names, so high 5's to all of them on this Sunday am.... More

The location was quiet, a bit of a walk to town, on a sidewalk path overgrown with weeds. The river walk was recommended by the motel staff as wheelchair accessible so we were game. After pushing the chair up a steep part of the walk, the high altitude making me breath hard, we found no way to get off the... More

This hotel has a wonderful location IF you don't mind driving everywhere. To walk to the path or downtown, you must first walk on a narrow, poorly lighted sidewalk next to a very busy road and an overgrown, vacant lot. When you finally reach the walking and biking path, you need to walk through the Hilton parking lot and cross... More

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry for the location, but it's what we had to work with. I have contacted the city several times about the lots to the east, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. More
