Let me start out my saying that we've stayed in 6 star hotels, motels, Bed and Breakfast, and all the way down to broken down hotels/motels and we had read all the reviews of this place before going. We were tempted to cancel and find somewhere else but decided that we'd take the chance. The one thing that caught our... more

I should have known from the surly front desk person who checked us in and all the nasty ones who followed, this must not be a good place to be... either to work or to stay. There was a strange leakage in the floor. There was a fight that started in the parking lot a 3am complete with the sounds... more

The only thing nice about this place was the swimming pool. The rooms are very old, the carpet is nasty and the couch had absolutely no springs left in it what so ever. When you sat in it, you went straight to the floor. I know there were "locals" living there that were a bunch of Tweekers. Not a safe... more

Upon arriving, the room was freezing cold, we turned on the heater and unpacked. As the evening progressed the room was still freezing cold. We had to pull the covers from the second bed to add to the first bed to stay warm. The door was so drafty we had to take the top sheet from the second bed and... more

This hotel was very dirty for such an expensive place we'd had a long day and had another in front of us so we werent there long but as some other reviews say it was not worth the money. We however had a deal from a family member but you could just as someone said could hear everything and the... more

My wife and I got the hotels number from a Colorado tourism book. They must have spent more money on the ad then the upkeep of the motel. You could hear people in the next room having a normal conversation. The room was dirty and the light fixtures were missing the shades. At $100. I sure did expect better. Would NEVER... more

This place is old and needs a re-model. It was clean; but that was it. You can tell who ever owns this does not live near by or checks on the property. The pool water is murky. Cigarette butts all over, staff helpful and nice. I have a problem with someone trying to check me in or out when eating.... more

I had a bad feeling as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, but the rest of Durango was booked. Dirty, ripped carpet, block & paneled walls. Bathroom was tiny and not very clean w/ no exhaust fan. Upstairs loft was excruciatingly hot with no way to ventilate. I was apprehensive about pulling back the sheets, but bed was... more

I booked a room for 3 nights for my husband and I who are in our 60's. I didn't like the looks of the place when we pulled up and had the good sense to ask to see the room before we paid for 3 nights. It was a DUMP and I refused to stay there. Desk clerk assured us... more
