This hotel is nothing special but you can't beat it for the price. No frills but serves the purpose. Breakfast was nice, the staff was friendly. I would stay again. I don't think this hotel is within walking distance of the downtown shops but is a close drive.

Super reasonably priced and perfectly centrally located in town. Extra clean and very fast check in service. Too bad I woke up too late for the breakfast, but the description of the setup sounded great.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Motel is convienent to local restaurants. You can make the drive to the railroad station in about ten minutes. While you are in Durango try to eat breakfast at Oscar's cafe.

Being an older facility is no shame. However, not keeping the facility up and failing to render due service to customers is. When checking in we were told that if we needed heat we would have to get a space heater. No hot water in the lavatory: after running the tap for several minutes it finally reached a temperature less... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We do not offer or advertise a "Full" or "hot" breakfast (eggs/meat), but we do provide an expanded continental breakfast with make your own waffles, bagels, doughnuts, toast, hot and cold cereals, coffee/tea/juice/hot cocoa and fruit in the summer. What I said was that our continental breakfast exceeds EconoLodge brand... More

Even though we were coming in at 1 or 2 am the office was closed but the manager opened it up for us. The rooms were nice and clean beds comfortable and the only disappointment is no fridge. Continental breakfast was nice and it had a good view...

There is nothing over the top about this place. The room was small, but clean. It's a bit pricey, considering it's older and very basic. But the least expensive in the area, I could find. The breakfast offered is very simple. We ended up standing outside to eat. The dining area is very small and only accommodates about 5 people... More

We started planning too late for the Labor Day weekend and ended up settling for a very small, ground level, dreary, over-priced room in this old motor hotel right off one of the noisiest, busiest streets in town. I am giving the room a 2 out of 5 only because Earl at the front desk was pleasant and helpful, the... More

Only stayed one night, but was worth the cost. Pleasant rooms and friendly staff plus breakfast made it an enjoyable stay. Just up the road from the Durango/Silverton train depot so if this is your plan, stay here!

Not cheap but cheapest we found in a pricey town. Clean and spacious room. Road noise not a problem for us. WiFi was great and that means a lot when traveling with teenagers one of whom needed a good connection for online class. Friendly and helpful professional front desk staff.
