My first trip to Durango was sooooo nice. We live in Tennessee and always wanted to visit Colorado and boy did we visit the perfect place. The owners are very accommodating and our week there was fantastic. Very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Lighter Creek Inn is in a nice position close to Durango for the train, our room was upgraded free of charge which was nice and Patra and Marvin were very welcoming and sociable. The room and the house were very nice in a quiet location although you could hear other guests in their rooms. Being European breakfast was odd, there... More

We spent $200 per night and got a room with no heat, broken tub, non-flushing toilet and the ability to hear everything going on in the adjoining rooms. The lights were so dim we could not see to read and the TV was ancient and did not work. The breakfast was heavy and not very good and the owners were... More

We arrived in Durango during a driving rain storm and did not have reservations. Most places were booked up but called the Lightner Creek Inn and by chance they had one room available. It was a wonderful surprise for us as it is just a delightful place to stay. Great breakfast, lovely room, peaceful , wonderful views plus there is... More

We were only able to enjoy one night's stay at the Lightner Creek Inn but we do plan on coming back again on our next trip to Durango! The Inn is located just outside of Durango in a beautiful setting, perfect for starting your day or unwinding at the end of a long day. We were treated to a stuffed... More

My sister and brother-in-law and my wife and I stayed here for three nights. The bed was not made the second night we were there for either of our rooms. During the second night the sheet came untucked. Then for our third night the bed was made, but they did not even tuck in the sheet which left my feet... More

We stayed at this B&B on way to Ouray and again on our way back home. When we come back again to Durango this will be our 1st choice. Patra & Marvin are great host. Wonderful breakfast and our room was excellent. Location is 3 miles appox to downtown and 30 miles from Mesa Verde. Also close to another route... More

We had an awesome stay again for the third time. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone. Have yet to be disappointed. The Orange Marmalade French Toast for breakfast was to die for. Marvin was gracious enough to share the recipe with my wife and she has since made it at home for our guests, and it was... More

We go to Lightner Creek Inn for the peace and quiet that surrounds the place. We watch for deer and turkey each morning while enjoying another great breakfast prepared by Marvin and Patra. The hospitality begins when you drive on the property. The check in process includes a sample of Patra's wonderful cookies. This is where we go to get... More

We stumbled upon this lovely place, and had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so accommodating, warm, and friendly. Our room was easily accessible for my handicapped husband, and nice and quiet and peaceful. Our breakfast was yummy, and relaxed. I would highly recommend this inn.
