This is a great place, in one of the most beautiful areas in Durango. I was playing in a Disc Golf tourny and wanted to scout out a nice place for my friends wedding next month. I'm planning on returning with my girlfriend and this is definitely going to be the place. The staff is friendly, rooms are great, and... more

What a great place, convent to down town but far enough out to be amazingly quiet. Taking my morning coffee down by the creek was an awesome way to wake up. I hope it works out for me to go back soon and see this beautiful area in every season. more

It is located in the most beautiful place. It is so quiet and peaceful. The inn is absolutely gorgeous. And our innkeeper was so helpful and kind. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. It was incredible. more

We had a wonderful experience at Lightner Creek, our first B&B. Deb, the Innkeeper, was very hospitable, a wonderful chef, and a great conversationalist. She made the experience very personable and she even taught us how to make crepes! Our room was comfortable and there was a great heater in the bathroom The area was serene as the grounds were... more

We planned a relaxed romantic mini-honeymoon weekend before our week-long stay with nieces and nephews for Christmas. The plan was to see Mesa Verde, take a ride on the Rail Road and maybe check out the hot springs. All that was cancelled when I came down with a BAD cold. We slept through the first day and when I just... more

What a great inn! Traveled there with my Border Collies and was very pleased with the inn, but the dog friendly attitude really impressed me. The yard is large and a creek runs along the back of the property and allows for some 4-legged fun. The worst part is the 'dog-friendly' room is located closest to the kitchen so when... more

Our stay was short but sweet. We will share this wonderful place with friends and family for years to come. The breakfast room overlooks a creek and a pond--even wild turkeys enjoy the mornings! Every convenience was provided. It is worth the few extra minute drive to stay in a quiet, tranquil setting. more

Lightner Inn is a breath of fresh air! The innkeeper made me feel right at home! It was quiet and away from the business of downtown Durango. The breakfast was marvelous. more
