We checked in at about 5pm. A/c didn't work, beds were very uncomftorble tried to open a window and pushed to hard and accidentally broke it. Told the boy at the front desk and he said my family and I were sol for the night. The next morning the owner or manager (never identified himself) was pounding on the door... More

This guest, after breaking the window in his room (this was no accident, the shatter originated from the middle of the pane and looked like it had been hit from the inside with a blunt object), wend down to the lobby and belligerently demanded another room. After calming down, he eventually admitted that he was at fault and accepted that... More

Lovely hotel and warmest welcome from Sharon on the desk. You could fault the lack of complimentary shampoo and coffee makers, though there is always coffee in the lobby, but the rooms and bathroom were spacious and spotless. This is a budget priced hotel but given the price, the helpfulness of staff and the cleanliness it's a real bargain. Ignore... More

Some pretty good reviews and some sour grapes, too . Our stay was great, good location for all the sites. Brought the grandkids rode the trolley had fun. Employees were very nice. Rooms were good. Price was a very good value, comparatively.

This place is a real trash dump, bedbugs and roaches. Caught the staff trying to steal some of our things.

I don't know where to begin in replying to this review except to say that we have never had roaches or bedbugs. What I am really taken aback by, though, is the accusation of theft. It's a sign of the times, I guess, that people feel free to accuse others of horrible things like theft without any substantiation, then post... More

After driving up from New Mexico on my way home to Montrose, CO, I decided to spend an evening in Durango and get a little rest in one of my favorite towns. Unfortunately, I picked the Adobe Inn. Decent location, and the night staff was pleasant enough, but the next morning, when I complained about the shocking lack of hot... More

Was quite surprised to find little here to qualify for the price. Old, no outlets in the room. Furniture in bad shape. Found out through my travels and the websites do not reflect the actual condition. Be careful.

I was surprised to see all the negative reviews of the Adobe Inn, our stay there was quite nice. Admittedly, it is an older motel, but our room was clean and updated and the price was fair. Our room had new carpet and furniture, the linens looked brand new and the bed was very comfortable. We were especially pleased by... More

We stayed at The Adobe Inn very recently and it was quite a deal. We took advantage of the 3 days or more rate and at that price it is a very good deal. We had a single queen room and there is a refrigerator and a bigger than 13" tv, it's more like 27" or something and flat screened.... More

Checked in here on a Saturday in a rush, should have looked around more. I was driving a work truck that has alot of stuff locked inside. When I tried to park on the street next to the hotel, some guy ran up and said I might get a ticket for parking there. He then said he would "watch my... More
