The owners/staff were very personable and were prepared for our arrival and had even read and accommodated our pre-arrival "request" submitted with the reservation - RARE! First, this is NOT a 5 diamond property, and I knew that when I chose the property based upon price, so they should not be compared to such. The property is not new, but... More

For the price ( I paid $60 for a king bed) it was a good value. I staid here as suggested by the hotel clerk of a competitor who sent me to the Adobe Inn because she liked it when she stayed there. I agree...the room was clean, the window opened and the room seemed to have been fairly recently... More

Arrived at hotel after riding a motorcycle 300 miles in the rain at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon and found a sign on the door that they were out to lunch be back soon. Odd time to go to lunch since check in time is 3:00. My husband went through a back door and found people to check us in,... More

I don't know why the negative reviews, our room is fine. I've stayed in worse rooms that cost more than this. Our room is very clean, spacious with everything we need for our 3 days here. There is a single -cup coffee maker also. When I inquired I had been told there weren't coffee makers in the rooms so not... More

Unbelievable bunch of thieves. They charged our credit card $200 claiming we smoked pot in the room. We did nothing of the sort and tried to dispute it. Neither of us smoke at all and are an older professional couple Their mgr was rude and hung up on us. As far as we are concerned this place stole money from... More

Our room was decent size, but it smelled like dirty socks and beds were not comfortable. It does have free parking in a convenient parking lot and does have free WiFi. Also, its a drive or long walk to the main historic area of Durango with all the shops and restaurants.

Not understanding any of the nasty reviews of this place. It is serviceable. Actually, the updated exterior is very nice. Inside-Queen bed, desk-2 chairs, TV, dresser, sink, shower. All clean, all mostly new or in good shape-nothing smelled bad or old or musty. Location is fine. Right on the main drag-just north or south of most everything within a couple... More

Fresh paint doesn't hide the 1960s era motel. The price is right, but you get what you pay for. Bath fixtures old, carpet stained... But room clean. Young men checked us in and were polite. Probably good for budget conscious - if you were coming to mountain bike or ski, this would be fine. Near Animas river walk--- nice!

My friends and I drove 11 hours from Texas, and were slap-happy and stupid by the time we arrived in Durango. I did a quick google search for lodging for the night and we were almost pulled in by the cheap price of a national chain, but fortunately I scrolled down a bit and we found the Adobe Inn. We...
