We came in late, they had already closed the office; we called the ER number and this warm, caring young man came right over and opened for us; we got checked in and he preceded us to the room, had the door opened for us and the heat up. This is a family owned business and one with history of... More

Stayed here on motorcycle trip to DURANGO and MESA VERDE. We loved the motel and rooms and windows that REALLY open so we could run extension cord out to battery chargers and hear if anyone messed with our bikes. NICE MOTEL and LOVE IT there.

We only stayed for one night, but were really enchanted with the place. To begin, the owners were incredibly nice - they waited until we arrived and gave us a really nice, private room away from everyone else. The rooms were very charming (apparently freshly renovated) with nice linens and furniture. It was very convenient to have a fridge and... More

Very nice owners and very clean property. Unfortunately is located on busy highway and road noise is loud until the late hours of the night. Room looks like old ski lodge with wood panel walls. Shower is new plastic surround with fabric curtain. Very strange looking. No shampoo, lotion or shower gel only very small sliver of soap in a... More

While it is quaint on the outside the beds were hard, pillows hard ,no shampoo tiny tiny soap bars . We stayed one night and told them we would stay another night .At 9pm we were told we had to leave because they rented out the room to someone else. Most likely for a much higher price than they were going to... On a recent visit to Durango we spent 3 nights here. They advertise free wifi but it doesn't work. I guess thats why its free. We were in room 8 with no wifi at all. Outside it was limited with a speed of less than 1 mbps! Room was clean and updated. Our last day of room service was poor... More

The only good thing about our stay was that the room was clean. TV is the size of our computer monitor. Bed was terrible - you could feel every spring. Don't stay here, there are plenty of other places to stay right down the street!

I stayed at the Caboose motel one night on a 16 day road trip. The hotel is older and the rooms are very basic, but I was pleased at the cleanliness and the bed was wonderful (cute addition of a teddy bear on the top). I was able to park right in front of my room, which made loading/unloading very... More

The room was pretty dated and that made it seem not quite clean. The sheets were fresh and the towels were clean, but I think it could probably use a good top to bottom scrub. It was comfortable though and I wasn't squeamish about settling in to sleep. The only AC is a window unit which doesn't do a great... More

The motel is nothing fancy; the staff at the front desk was very genuine and friendly. The motel is not right in the middle of town but still close enough which makes it a great choice for me (on 550 on the North end of town). The parking lot was in great shape and there is a parking spot in... More
