Spent a couple of nights here. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is an older place however it is in good shape and clean. The rooms are a good size and have a small fridge, microwave, and TV. No coffee pot. Parking is a little tight. They do have an outdoor pool. The trolley stop is right out in... More

We did not have hotel reservations when coming from Arizona and was going to stop early as soon as we got to a town in CO. However, there were no vacancies in Cortez CO so we had to keep driving. With help from our smart phones, we found one room available in Durango at the Spanish Trails Inn and we... More

this Inn locates on the margin of the Main Ave, opposite to a local supermarket, which is convenient (especially when the Inn itself doesn't provide breakfast...) the size and cleanness of the room is fine, but the service is not ideal: (1) we book a room through agent website and it didn't mention that the office hour during the weekday... Basic, older, no frills hotel. Loved Kenny who recommended a quiet and lesser used room, and a great place for breakfast (CJs diner). Room was clean, small kitchenette, beds were very comfortable.two stories, no elevator to second floor. Just passing through, so a quick place to sleep, but would stay again. We checked in after hours, desk closes at 11,... More

Nice motel about a mile from all the action. It's also on the correct side of the road when you want to head into town. No hassle of crossing two lanes of heavily trafficked road. The Animas Mtn trail that starts basically right behind the motel was an amazing 5 mile loop of a hike. I would highly recommend this... More

It was cheap enough that we could get two rooms so everyone got their own bed, and it was functional but not much better. Wifi didn't work, shower lacked water pressure and the shower head was awful, beds were ok, everything was pretty dingy, but staff was helpful and friendly. Fine for sleeping a night.

Great wifi connection. Large rooms. Clean and comfortable. Its on my Top ten favorite motels I've ever been in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to downtown area and the same road as the durango & Silverton train.

We stayed here for one night only, and chose this hotel because of its price, but it had some problems because (i) Someone had smoked in the nonsmoking room; (ii) The TV did not work. Since it was New Year's Eve and we were going out, we did not bother to try to change rooms. The beds were OK, and... More

We went to Durango and reserved the Spanish Trails Inn from the reviews of other Trip Advisors. The Inn was a little way from downtown but it was on the same road so it was convenient to get to. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The laundry room was very convenient and... More

We came here purely for the steam train trip. The room was spacious with a refrigerator, tv and microwave but no coffee maker. The shower had no pressure but the bathroom was otherwise fine. No breakfast, free or otherwise, but you could get coffee from the office in the morning. I could not get WiFi working in the room but... More
