The half an hour drive (which is scenic) from downtown Durango is worth it to stay with the lovely views there. The condos were affordable and had everything we needed. We were even upgraded for free to an amazing two bedroom with a jacuzzi! I highly suggest staying there for the peace and views.

This is a community of various-sized condo units for rental with an indoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, tennis court, and health club. Located 2 miles from Purgatory (formerly DMR) ski mountain, it is quieter than the ski mountain yet close enough to enjoy the amenities of the ski mountain too. We stayed in a 3-bedroom condo with 3 bathrooms and... More

We stayed here over New Years. It was pretty great. Facilities were nice, access to the Durango Mountain Resort in the most of snow. Covered Parking, so if you have to put on chains it's super easy. Balconies overlooking lots of the complex. The hot tubs in the snow are awesome. Full kitchens, warm fireplaces. Did I mention the proximity... More

Stayed over President's Day wkd with another family. Comfortably slept 8, lots of room for 4 kids to stretch out and super close to mountain. Hot tub/pool area plus free daily shuttle were great pluses. Views were bonus too. Definitely stay there again.

First night. After a terrible flight, we get to the hotel. Neither us or other people could get into the parking lot. The road froze and the management does not have salt or sand for the road. It took us about 2 hours trying to get into the parking lot since the hotel is situated on the hill. We finally... More

Good: - nice, cozy apartment type/timeshare room. I guess they are renting in offseason and when owners are not present. Really feel like home with kitchen, fancy bathroom with jet ski. Our room was well maintained and no issue with smell or other problems TA reviewers mentioned. - It is about 25 miles north of downtown Durango, so definitely need... More

We stayed here for a week in late September. Our experience was just fine but I would be very careful booking in the future. We stayed for 6 nights in an efficiency...what amounts to a condo. The price was amazing for off season...I would never stay here for what they charge during peak season. Good: The bathroom was plenty spacious... More

This was promoted as "one of the nicest units" when we booked it directly with Cascade Village, and while it is large and well laid out - that statement is quite a stretch, and I don't want to see the "not-so-nice" units based on that statement. It has two floors, kitchen, living room and dining room, bedroom and bath downstairs.... More

The staff and I are very sorry for the conundrum you experienced with the unit you stayed in. The room discount extended to and accepted by your party is a small token of our way of imparting our sincerest apologies. Please do not hesitate to contact me to further resolve this issue. Evidenced by the tone of this review, it... More

We rented the 3 bedroom, 3 bath Cascade Condo over Presidents day weekend. I had researched the property on TripAdvisor and had seen the previous complaints about towels & toilet paper. We did bring our own Toilet paper just to avoid running out :) . There is a washer & dryer in the unit, so I did wash some towels.... More

The accommodations were not nearly good enough for the money. The condo was big enough for two families of five, however, we didn't get any room service for the five days we stayed. We had to go find and/or buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, dish washer soap, washer soap, bathroom towels, etc. We didn't see a cleaning crew... More
