This is a nice clean campground. Unfortunately you can hear the road noise from 160. Other than that it's about the as good a campground as any. The pool is small but nice. The bathrooms did not give off that creepy dirty vibe that you get at some campgrounds but the trade off is you can't use it between 1030... More

When we called and said we would be in at 10 they told us how to do night check in and then were waiting for us at the door. He even led us to our campsite so we didn't get lost in the dark! In the morning the food was great and at an amazing price. The location is also... More

They deliver pizza made on site to your RV, have 2 dog parks, things for the kids and a heated pool. They also serve breakfast. It's very quiet and shady and a good location. They are also green and recycle. Enjoyed our stay here. Would come back if in the area.

Stayed here for five nights on a work trip. The tent camping sites are level and softened with wood chips. The bathrooms are very clean & the water pressure is great. They deliver pizza (that happens to be really good) right to your campsite. The staff is friendly & accomadating. They provide family movie showings every night at the pavilion,... More

We asked for a site late in the day and were accommodated although the campground was quite full. Staff was friendly and grounds were neat and attractive. I enjoyed the natural setting and subtle lighting that let us see the stars. There is a canal through the property that would make careful supervision of very young children important. The noise... The owners are lovely, the campground is clean. The pool was not heated (summer doesn't mean bearable water when the night temps are so low.) the dryers need to be upgraded in laundry. Showers were nicely redone and clean. The highway noise was a bit much beginning at 5 in the morning, but that is what it is.

Beautiful campground, level sites, good water pressure, great staff friendly and accommodating. Short drive to historic Durango. Will definately stay here again. Cable tv was great with plenty of channels, depending on your TV setup could be a bit of a chore to hook up the needed and provided box.

This is an older KOA that is not up to current standards. Eastbound, it has unsafe egress off of Hwy160. It is noisy, RV sites are crammed together, and are lined with boulders- the RVers nightmare. With the slideouts extended, there is not room to walk around your rig. This was a poor experience and I'll not return.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our campground. The campground was built 50 years ago when the Hwy was just a two lane road. The Highway department has made a few improvements by adding a middle turn lane making it safer to turn in and out of the campground. Jay & I purchased the campground 24... More

We found this KOA in the R.V. guide. We called and they informed us they did not open until the next day, we were one day early for the grand opening. BUT they invited us in anyway, made up a cabin and close r.v. site, with hookups. We were the only people there and it was such a treat. They... More

Not knowing what a KOA is like - the family was very happy to experience the KOA. friendly, good local knowledge, the cabin, well, it's a cabin made of wood. As with most people this day, happy to see a few power outlets for some items requiring a desperate recharge. Durange itself semed lovely, we arrived late, didn't get much... More
