This is a wonderful RV park. It is easy to access and has nice parking spots. Most of the slots are shady and easy to fit into. I have a 40ft 5th wheel and need easy access. The laundry is clean and works well. The staff is extremely helpful and supports veterans. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 kids and dog. Park is extremely well maintained. Spaces are plenty big and there are tons of trees. It is out of the way enough to give that "great outdoors" feel but still close enough to Durango to enjoy the sights without driving to far. All in all was a great... More

We stayed here in Aug 2013 with a Class A diesel pusher. We stayed in a strange spot, located just behind the laundry area but it was perfectly fine - except that you just can't get wifi here. We had no cell service (T Mobile) as well. Wifi is easy to access in other areas of the park, and if... More

This is a very nice RV park. It is very clean. The staff is large with rotating shifts. They were all very helpful. We had a bit of a kerfuffle with the reservations, but they cleared it up nicely. Our site was large. If you are tent camping, expect about 10 feet. Not enough room to swing a sleeping bag.... More

Great place. Good location and good size spots. Enjoyed hearing the steam train go by in the morning and afternoon and great spot to take pics of it too. Easy to get too and lots of extras like a dog area and a swimming pool.

I was a little disappointed with all the reviews for the campgrounds in Durango being so close to the road etc etc and so happy that I took the trouble to search a little further out as this was a great place in a great setting. The staff were really friendly and interested in us as 'Brits'. The best wifi... More

This is a really nice RV park with an awesome staff. They greeted us at the entrance, escorted us to our site and let us register after setting up. This is a great service as it eliminates all the confusion and waiting at check-in. The park has a lot of grass, trees, flowers and shade. The pull-thru sites are large... More

My wife and I just spent 5 days at Alpen Rose RV Park, and we were thoroughly pleased! When we first arrived, a very friendly greeter, Dick, met us in his golf cart just as we were pulling in, found our name on the reservation sheet, and escorted us to our site. We were in a wonderful shady site. Everyone... More

Great staff, lots of activities, great pool, dog walking area, awesome outside cafe breakfasts, pot lucks, close to town, shops and restaraunts. The train ride is in town. The hand glider rides are across the street. So much to do and see. A great place to stay as you rv or travel.
