Great family ski area for intermediate ski families. Never felt crowded even though the ski resort was full. Our family's favorite was skiing to the back and hanging at Chair Lift 8. Totally uncrowded, lots of blue run choices and ski right up to Dante's for hot chocolate or lunch!

The parking arrangements, friendly retail staff, and swimming pools/jacuzzis were great. However, the privately owned condos where lodging staff will place you are often in disrepair. Ours had one place setting, a filthy balcony, and damaged bathroom fixtures and carpet. This time for us, it was definitely a level below a well operated 2 or 2 1/2 star hotel.

For three nights we enjoyed the magnificent views and total comfort afforded by our condo at Purgatory Lodge.
