this is not a motorcycle friendly park due to the rock drive lanes, there was NO Internet,No Cable TV, in & out cell phone service, small sites for large rigs. We were upset about the false advertising of the tv,there was a cable hook-up,no service..

Stay away from this campground. The sites on the north end of the campground are terrible, they are not anywhere close to level and it can be a challenge gettinzg in and out. They advertise cable on there website, in the campground, and on any flyer you pick up but there is none. They also advertise free wifi, again there... More

no wifi, no cable , False advertising, its on there signs and website. Previous camper had a bad clean out and left toilet paper all over the ground and it was not cleaned for my stay. This may have been because you will have to use up to 3 extensions on your sewer hose to reach the poorly places sewer... More

I am in the travel industry an run a 80 foot term charter yacht in the BVI Tim and Sherry run a great spot with out a doubt the best location in Durango! Easy access to bike paths and public Trolley service. Showers/baths and laundry were spotless. Silverton train runs right thru camp site very fun kids loved it. Plenty... More

We spent two nights at this campground with our pop-up camper. The staff were friendly, the sites and the bathrooms were clean. The only downside we felt was that it was pricey - the charge of an extra $5/person/night seemed excessive to pay for three kids ages 11 and under.

We were in the tent camping section for three days. Tents are on a flat, grassy section that is very pretty. Enjoyed our stay, except campsites are awkwardly close together (no privacy) - awkwardly close to your neighbors. The Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad runs right through the property, which is kind of fun and interesting, but DANGEROUS. While we... More

This was our second time to stay at this RV park. We stayed in July of 2013 and 2015. Nice park, great laundry and restroom/shower facilities! Pool is great and love the location of the park itself. You can catch the trolley to town or walk as it's still close enough but not too close. Will definitely be back! Silverton/Durango... More

Camped here six nights in 30 ft Class A. FHU pull through. Park was very well cared for and kept up daily. We had a spot along the tracks and loved seeing the trains come through every day. They do not allow campfires which was a little disappointing. And WIFI was almost non-existent where we were parked. Sites were a... More

We camped here in a 27 foot Class A motor home for 2 weeks. This is our second extended visit. We do not tow. This is a classic family-owned campground for both campers of all classes and tents. There are equal parts pull-thru and back in sites that are almost all level featured on three different levels in this hillside venue.... We stayed here a few nights. Since we mostly explore an area while camping, we did not stay at the campground a lot. We stayed on the upper level, overlooking other campers, the Animas River, and the Durango-Silverton RR. We had a water and electric site. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and although we didn't use the pool,... More
