Absolutely the best value in Durango! Forget every negative you've heard about hostels. This is more like a B&B or small hotel. Candace has poured her soul into the place, and it shows. It's immaculate, peaceful and ideally located (between town and Fort Lewis College). The large living room is inviting, with a fireplace, plush furniture and a computer station.... more

The cleanest, highest-quality, downright nicest place we have stayed during our American trip -- and that includes not just hostels, but motels and a couple of fancy hotels in National Parks. The building has been recently totally refurbished; it is spotlessly clean; there are little signs of great attention to detail, such as free earplugs in the bathroom for those... more

This hostel is a far cry from the hostels of legend, it's clean, comfortable, safe and full of amenities. It is about 1 mile from downtown Durango, Colorado. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom facilities extremely clean and new, The hostess, Candice was very pleasant and accommodating and for $22/night, the only bad thing I could possibly say about this... more

This hostel is definitively the nicest and cleanest I've seen after traveling around the world for the last months. The decoration is very nice and modern with attention for details, amenities are spotless and spacious and you will find your bed made! Not speaking about the manager who is really helpful and friendly. This is for sure the best deal... more

My partner and I were visiting Durango to spend time with family that were also in the area. We booked our reservation on-line and we received a prompt confirmation. We were informed that we were lucky because we snatched up the last 2 beds! And what luck! For what we paid we can definitely say that this place is worth... more

its a affordable (U.S. $ 28-22 a night ) place to stay if you just want to have a bed, cook your own meals and hang out with other guests. It feels like a home away from home, with computer acess (free, but donations are encouraged) from three computers, a deck, small library, a cozy living room, showers and bathrooms,... more

This new hostel in Durango, CO is extremely clean and secure. I went down there for a bike race and heard very good things about it already. Our group of 4 received a 20% discount, which cost only $22/night. The staff of 1 is highly motivated to make a guest's experience amazing, even calling restaurants for another guest that was... more

Absolutely wonderful. My 19 year old son spent the night here before leaving on a 6:40 a.m. Greyhound the next day. The host, Candace, was very helpful and accommodating. The hostel was very clean and well kept with free internet use to boot! My son ended up having a room all to himself for a total of $24. I would... more

What a rare find...a clean, well-run and beautiful hostel--with all sorts of details that make all the difference: free internet, shelves by the beds, free earplugs, coffee and a great host. I haven't stayed in a hostel for a while, since my travel days in Europe, so I was worried about how it would be, but this place is CUSH.... more
