We have had the pleasure of staying at Silverpick several times over the years and it is a joy to return. The only caution is choosing the room/condo carefully. We once were placed in a one bedroom condo on the South side of the complex, with windows and deck facing the parking lot (although we were told the view was... More

Our condo was nicely furnished and had all the comforts of home. lots of trails leave right from the lodge. Off the road and very much in the trees and mountains. Only one mile to the ski resort, close enough but far enough to not be in the noise and traffic. The Sow's Ear restaraunt on site is excellent. We... More

I had the privilege of taking a youth group of 44 Jr. High kids up to Durango for a summer retreat...What a blast! The Lodge not only accommodated, but truly exceeded all of our expectations. The lodge is clean, the staff is friendly, I would highly recommend to any and all!

We just held a three generation family reunion at the Silver Pick Lodge for 3 days and it was fantastic. We had the entire Lodge and several of the condos for our group of over 60 people ranging in age from 2 months to mid 50's. With the rental of the whole Lodge we got the use of the Columbine... Had a fantastic stay at the Silverpick and can't recommend it highly enough. It exceeded expectations in all quarters. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our three week stay. The condo we rented was spacious, clean and incredible value - well equipped kitchen, huge beds and ample living space (the highlight was definitely the open log fire). The... More

A relative that lives in the area recommended the Silver Pick. I found it hard to believe it could be nice for only $120 per night for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo less than 1 miles from the ski slope. I was pleasantly surprised. The unit we got was amazing ... new carpeting, wood stove, fashionable furniture, games, a flat screen... More

We wanted somewhere to stay near Durango where we could enjoy the mountains and ride the train to Silverton. And we wanted a good price. This place fulfilled all those prerequisites. There were no previous reviews on Trip Advisor so we were a little hesitant having become so used to trusting the independent advice from others. Being outside ski season... More
