During the end of March, me and a few of my buddies decided to stay at the Tamarron for a snowboarding trip. It was a tremendous experience and a tremendous stay. I would highly recommend this resort.

Hi everyone, I am writing to clear up any confusion about Tamarron. We stayed at a privately rented condo at Tamarron last summer and loved it! Tamarron is a condo complex located 17 miles north of Durango and 8 miles south of the Purgatory/Durango Mtn Resort ski area. It's a beautiful property with a main lodge made and three clusters... Stayed at Tamarron for a week long ski trip Feb. 20-28 at Durango Mountain (Purgatory) which is 8 miles up the road. The mountain and skiing were great and we'll go back, but we had some issues with Tamarron and dont know if I would stay there again. First problem was finding it.. We drove around for an extra 45... We stayed in the condos for a good price. It was a very clean, comfortable room. We had just a couple of concerns. There are vaulted windows with no coverings, so the room gets bright early. Bring your sleep mask! Also the sidewalks were dark at night with no lighting. The one leading to our condo was not cleared of... More

Recently had a wonderful stay at the Tamarron Resort . HIghlights were the well-appointed and large room (including full kitchen), fabulous and spotless pool/spa/sauna facility, great restaurant and bar, and the spectacular views and grounds. I would definitely return.

If you are visiting the Durango area and are willing to drive a bit to get into town for shopping, eating and the railroad trip, check into the Durango Mountain Resort's Inn at Tamarron. It is located approximately 16 miles north of Durango on US 550 in the most spectacular San Jaun foothill setting. Our oversized room overlooked the golf... More

I went with a group of about 80 people from Feb 28 to March 3th and we all stayed at Tamarron Resort. First I will say that the rooms are big and have a nice view. The rooms come with a kitchenet, microwave and frige. The water is very hard and makes it difficult to wash when taking a shower.... More

One of our stops during our vacation was Durango. We were in Durango, Co. on July 20 & 21, 2006. Twenty years ago(Dec. 15, 1986, my wife and I spent our honeymoon at Tamarron Resort. The facility was outstanding especially during the skiing season. Prior to 1986 I had stayed at Tamarron to go skiing at Purgatory. It was the... More

I wrote a review a couple of days ago and I still stand by it. It was awful at this resort. We didn't get the correct room, no hot water, air conditioner broke in the middle of the night, we were there for 3 days and did not receive house keeping for any of our duration. We complained and complained... More
