Campground was nice & very clean. Only negative is that the big rig sites are long but very narrow, not much room between rigs. Great that it was right along the Dolores River. It was quiet after dark.

We enjoyed the laid back and friendly atmosphere of Delores River Campground. There was also a lot to do mountain biking, hiking, fishing and good local food. Staff is super friendly and helpful!!!!!!

It was nice and clean. Right on the bank of the Dolores River. The facilities were well maintained. Perfect place for seeing the Dolores River Valley. My son and I were fishing and trail riding. Centrally located for all of that.

We love it here. Billy and Lainey have really fixed it up nicely. We stay in the rustic cabins which consist of a double bed, a bunk bed, nice deck with picnic table and fire pit. Electricity only- no plumbing which is fine. They have nice restrooms/ shower rooms within walking distance. The grounds and river provide a beautiful setting.... More

The first night we were in a simple cabin. There were mice walking around and the next night we got offered another cabin. We chose ourselves for an upgrade with shower and kitchenette. This was way nicer (of course also more expensive) but we were glad we did it. The hot water wasn't working straightaway, the owners came twice to... More

We stayed in Dolores in 1989 at this very same park. I remember little about it, other than we loved the area. We were not disappointed when we returned here 26 years later. Actually, we have been told that the place has recently been refurbished. Many of the cabins and the main buildings seem very new and well cared for.... More

From Pizza night to Ice Cream Social these folks work to foster friendship and community. We'll go out of our way to stay here on travels through southwest Colorado. Proximity to mountains, lakes and Mesa Verde are just icing on the cake.

Site is gorgeous and very well maintained. The family that owns the place is super nice. The restroom, showers, laundry and rec room are all clean and well appointed. Only complaints/warnings: there are no change machines in the coin laundry, nor are there vending machines for supplies. You have to go to the desk and it closes fairly early. The... More

We had been dry camping in federal and govt campgrounds for a few days and needed a place to take a respite from "roughing it" for a few days. We wanted the convenience of an RV Park (full hookups, hot showers, laundry facilities) but didn't want to be in the typical "parking lot" rv park. This camp fit the bill.... More

Beautiful property next to the river, lots of trees, nice shop, clean bathrooms, although showers are tiny. Offers wood-fired pizzas, ice cream socials, coffee shop. Short drive to town. Friendly, helpful owners
