We stayed at the Burnsley to attend a friend's party in Denver. It was the closest to the party, within walking distance. It is a nice-looking hotel with an impressive lobby and lounge. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves don't live up to the lobby. The rooms are very large, old apartments by the looks of them. The linens were very nice.... more

Booked 3 nights at this hotel and received an email confirmation of the rate. At checkout the clerk insisted that the rate was $30 higher and would not honor the email confirmed rate. I sent a followup email asking them to credit my charge card with an attached confirmation to the management and they did not reply. Have sent a... more

I have stayed at the Burnsley four times. It is a great affordable option for government travelers. It is just a few blocks from the Capitol. The staff is the nicest I have ever encountered at any hotel and I travel a lot and stay in lots of hotels. They have a very convenient shuttle with a very nice driver.... more

We live in town (out in suburbia) and searched and searched all the downtown Denver hotels for the weekend PrideFest in Civic Center. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Reading some other reviews we found any complaints to be undeserved. Yes, the furnishings were a bit dated but they did not detract from our stay in anyway whatsover. The... more

I searched for weeks looking for a hotel close to downtown Denver with a sky line view, free parking and free internet. I thought these expectations wouldn't be a problem, but it indeed was. I stumbled across the Burnsley and noticed it offered everything I was looking for, but I was cautious after reading some of the reviews. I booked... more

My husband & I spent two nights at the Burnsley Hotel. We were visiting Denver because my husband was participating in the Barbershop National Competition. Most of the members stayed at a nearby higher priced hotel with less room and accomodations. I always feel cluster phobic in a room without an outside access, so that was the reason why I... more

Got a good rate on [--]. Rooms large and full kitchen and patio. Felt more like an apartment then hotel. Found staff helpful, and free shuttle (3 mile range) useful. Location is great. Rooms are getting long in tooth. And I too had some doubts about bedding. But found it comfortable, private and enjoyable place to stay. more

I was looking for a nice hotel at a decent price near downtown during the World Series. For 170$ a night I found the Burnsley and I couldn't have been happier. The suite was more an apartment than a suite: kitchen, bathroom, very large living room with round table that sits 6 people, sofa, two tv's, nice king size bed,... more

I was going to stay at a hotel near the airport, but the people I was coming to meet told me I needed to be closer to downtown. I didn't want to spend a lot, and decided on the Burnsley. Overall, I was quite pleased. It's a little dated, esp the bath, so if you're looking for glamour, this isn't... more

The Burnsley was wonderful! My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the Colorado Suites. When we checked in we were welcomed with dessert bites. Later in the evening we accidently locked ourselves out of our bathroom and the front desk immediately sent someone up with a key. The view of downtown along with the balcony (accesible from both the... more
