We travel often to Denver for business and it can be pricey. I read the reviews of the Burnsley and decided to give it a try. Liked the fact that it offered free parking and wifi. The bldge itself is quite old and in need of a face lift. Our suite had nice views but the furnishings felt like we... more

The Burnsley is an unattractive-looking apartment building. Our suite was obviously somebody's 1970's apartment. We appreciated having a lot of space but the "suite" was quite run-down - spots on the rug, chipped furniture, etc. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was a little noisy. The happy hour down at the bar was sad. We were the only ones there. more

pretty run down hotel in a rather seedy part of town. I was surprised that they would let a hotel in this price range get this run down. carpet was smelly. would not stay there again. more

Front desk service is friendly and helpful, the bar served a good selection of drink and tasty simple food. Again service was friendly and helpful. We booked the smallest suite and were pleasantly surprised by the size of it! The bed was huge and comfortable, dining table and kitchen were equally good and the balcony was very usable if in... more

This hotel is an old apartment building. The rooms look like my first apartment (you know, the kind you get when you are just starting off in life and don't have much). We ordered some room service and it didn't arrive at the time requested. Over an hour later, I called. They brought it up and give to to us... more

We were upgraded to a larger suite, that had a small view of the mountains. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The suite was large and comfortable and would be great for a longer stay. The free parking was a plus. We thought this was a good deal and would stay there again. more

We stayed at the Burnsley to attend a friend's party in Denver. It was the closest to the party, within walking distance. It is a nice-looking hotel with an impressive lobby and lounge. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves don't live up to the lobby. The rooms are very large, old apartments by the looks of them. The linens were very nice.... more

Booked 3 nights at this hotel and received an email confirmation of the rate. At checkout the clerk insisted that the rate was $30 higher and would not honor the email confirmed rate. I sent a followup email asking them to credit my charge card with an attached confirmation to the management and they did not reply. Have sent a... more

I have stayed at the Burnsley four times. It is a great affordable option for government travelers. It is just a few blocks from the Capitol. The staff is the nicest I have ever encountered at any hotel and I travel a lot and stay in lots of hotels. They have a very convenient shuttle with a very nice driver.... more
