My wife and I recently stayed at the Brown Palace while visiting downtown Denver over the weekend on a package with the Denver Botanic gardens to see an exhibit there. This is a fantastic & legendary hotel that is also a bit quirky. Its a very unique "old time" hotel with quite the history which has been very well maintained... More

Our second time staying here. Frankly, if it were not the iconic Brown Hotel, it would probably not be in business. We had a "top of the Brown" room which is supposed to be better, but the bathmat was frayed, a dying plant as décor, no housekeeping our second day, and no replacement of tub mats the first day. As... More

This hotel had everything that I look for when staying somewhere. An excellent bar and restaurant downstairs, impeccable service, beautiful, charming and comfortable rooms, and an ideal downtown location near just about everything. We will stay here again!

The ceiling fan in my very small room had dust on it from when the Beatles stayed there...the pillows were crappy...towels were rough...the room was small. There is one elevator for the entire building, but they apologize with a very nice sign at the broken elevator...I wish they had fixed the elevator instead of spending the resources making signs. I... More

It had been a few years since staying at the Brown and I had forgotten how much I love this hotel. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. We had a top of the brown room and it was spacious and elegantly appointed. The turn down service included ice and a pitcher of water. Probably the most comfy bed of any... More

Let me start by saying that the hotel itself is always a wonderful experience but I was pretty disappointed in my first afternoon tea at the Brown Palace. As as a special treat, I took my daughter for her birthday. We sat for quite a while before our server came over. So long in fact, that another server stopped at... More

This simple but gracious hotel has been open every day since it opened in 1892. Nine story atrium with cast iron railings and a stained glass ceiling. Piano or harp music continuously in the the atrium beginning at noon. Somewhat limited menu items on the two restaurants and room service, but the entire staff here is excellent.

I've stayed in true 5 star hotels and 2 star to folks who dont even participate. I think that for the better of this hotel, they probably shouldnt participate. I thought originally it was because I was there on the weekend of the season opener but farthest from it. The atmosphere is ok. Old, rustic is the feel they are... More

Rooms are large and comfortable. Bed is wonderful. Love the Ship Tavern downstairs. The concierge and staff are outstanding. They were incredible in helping us find an amazing room and recommendations for meals. Second time we have stayed here and plan to again.
