I'd like to personally thank, Jeff Dodd, at the front desk for his help in resolving an incorrect charge to my credit card. I saw that a meal was billed to me incorrectly. He looked into the matter and recognized that my room was charged inadvertently. Within minutes, he fixed the situation and went above and beyond to help me... More

I've had the great fortune to stay at the Brown Palace twice on business (my company has an office literally across the street), and both times I've been sad to leave and more than a little dazzled. If you like grand older hotels, the Brown Palace is about as good as it gets. The hotel, which was built in the... More

Just spent the night at the Brown Palace because a friend had travel points. We were upgraded to a premium room on the 8th Floor. I would say that the good balanced the bad but over-all the hotel is just not a good value. Built in the 1890's the historic aspects of the building and its owners influence on a... More

They have maintained the ambience to help travellers experience the glory of 1930's & 40's. Playing of piano all day in the tea room is a wonderful idea. The housekeeping team goes that extra mile with a quick evening cleanup, which is appreciated. History buffs like me will really enjoy this experience!

It seems to have lost the attention to detail that you expect and the Brown Palace used to deliver. Small items from disorganized valet to not verifying the purchased package to no assistance on car service, to no service/assistance in the lobby. In the future, I'll book at the Four Seasons or even Teatro instead.

I recently visited The Brown Palace in late October 2014 while attending a 4 day business-related training that was being hosted on site. The Hotel's interior upon arrival is quite beautiful. Breathtaking might be an even better word. Having worked in the hospitality business for some time, I was impressed with - and appreciative of - the service, appearance, and... More

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip and really had no idea what I had booked into until I arrived. It is a beautiful historic property and the staff are very attentive, however, I do have a couple of observations for those of you who are used to a more modern hotel may want to be aware... More

We stayed at the Brown for my kids school auction. Wonderful property with fantastic service. Ships Tavern did close a little early on Sat night. You definitely left a few thousand in revenue on the table as patrons were having a blast. We'll be back.

I love historic hotels and this one was on my bucket list for a long time. I was not disappointed. The facilities are old world elegant, the service impeccable. The room was well appointed with rich bed linens and a comfy mattress. The pillows were endless. Room service was a good value with buffalo and kobe burgers in the $13... More

Ah, The Brown Palace. A classic antique in the heart of Denver. The building is absolutely beautiful. My husband decided we needed to decompress after an emotional week of family passing. All I wanted to do was soak in a tub. We arrived and our reservations were lost. My husband made our reservations on line and they needed something faxed.... More
