The Brown Palace, is a charming, classic hotel. It is a bit tired looking, but clean. The staff are excellent and the decor is something to behold. It is definitely a landmark. The building is beautiful. The Lobby is stunning. Try to have High Tea which is served in the lobby. The atmosphere is wonderful.

Having lived in Colorado for quite some time I've been well aware of the Brown Palace but never had an occasion to stay there overnight until recently on business. The lobby and atrium have been nicely refurbished. Room was very quiet and comfy. Bathroom, while small, was well appointed. Free wi-fi provided for my group. A very nice, classic hotel.

The sandwiches are not very tasty and tasted old. The scones were very bland and flat tasting. The small pasties for desert were not tasty or fresh. The atmosphere was very nice and the piano music was nice except we were seated right next to the piano and could not visit easily due to sitting right by the piano. The... More

In a nutshell, this isn't a good value. The BP is a beautiful building. Retention of much of the original architecture is a real plus and the room furnishings complemented the one of the re-furbishings in 40s/50s. However, the hotel has failed to perform at the level expected in this price range. The staff lacked either experience, training or maybe... More

When I was living up in Greeley we took a weekend vacation in Denver and stayed at the Brown Palace. The customer service is fantastic. You pay for it but it's great! They're dog friendly and even provided our pup with his own wrought iron dog bed. It was a little small for our 70lb dog but he enjoyed trying... More

My in laws booked this hotel for myself and my husband the weekend of October 18th. I had several issues with the hotel based on the price that they paid. The room: Just average in terms of comfort and amenities provided. There was a hotel party on our floor and it was VERY loud, between the drunk wedding party hooting... More

I lived in Denver for a long time and always looked at the Brown as the epitome of class & elegance. We moved away, and on this return visit, we opted to stay there for 4 nights, and even upgraded to a higher level and a higher floor (8th). I was stunned; and not in a good way. I had... More

It was the first night of our honeymoon, so I did not notice a whole lot about the hotel except that the public rooms were very grand. Room was clean, bed was comfy, and breakfast was great, if a bit pricey.

Service From check-in to check-out it is total attention – friendly and super-efficient staff at all times. We were able to check in early with no issues. We were also allowed to check out a little later because of our flight times for which I am very grateful. On entering the hotel, the lobby is extremely impressive and the whole... More

Best service I have had in a long time, from check-in to check-out. It is pricey but worth it. Rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The restaurants were great. For lunch had a very tender and tasty rueben. I highly recommend the hotel.
