The Brown Palace just celebrated its 123rd year, and is now a part of the Marriott Signature Properties. So, if you like older hotels, especially beautifully restored ones built in the 'American Exuberant' person (like, for example, the Menger and the Driscoll), you will like this hotel. Just to state the obvious, they can be quirky; to me that's part... More

First was driving by to see if they had Valet, The area was packed and nowhere for me to pull in and no Valet's around. So I parked in a parking structure down the street. The lobby is awesome. The rooms were nice. I Liked the hotel part. Its the rest of it thats a nightmare. The SPA was dirty... More

On the final night of our Colorado RV roadtrip, we decided to treat ourselves to The Brown - what a great decision! We thoroughly enjoyed it - the afternoon tea, the spa (where I experienced the best facial ever), the hotel's Ellyngton restaurant (we were made to feel very special by the maitre'd Jerome), the knowledgeable concierge, who suggested the... Stayed here while attending a pharmacy conference. Not aware, maybe I missed a notice, but they are working on the exterior so there was a hammering noise right outside our room ALL DAY. I was gone but not pleasant for my wife who was trying to relax. The room is well appointed however there is no closet space. When I... More

We loved this hotel!! Walking into the lobby is like stepping back in time. Beautiful period furnishings. The tea service was just delightful to observe - even if you don't participate. The soaring staircases and balconies with intricate brass work rising above the beautifully appointed lobby are so unique - you don't find this in any modern day hotel! Our... More

We enjoyed our overnight at The Brown Palace. It is conveniently located and we were able to walk to the Ellie Calkins Opera House to see The Book of Mormon, as well as to Coors Stadium for a Rockies game. A nightcap in the Ships Tavern with piano bar ended a delightful day. Our room was quiet and well-appointed. The... More

The room was beautiful! We stayed at the "Top of the Brown". The staff did such an amazing job helping me with getting the champagne and cheesecake bites into the room prior to me arriving back at the hotel with my boyfriend from the airport, who just arrived home from deployment. The staff was so nice our entire stay and... More

We stayed here with my family on our way home to Texas after a long weekend in the mountains. I must say that the hotel is quite charming and right in the thick of everything. The staff was very courteous and the turndown service was a nice addition as well. If you are staying in Denver you might want to... More

Nice hotel in a great location. Just a block away from 16th street, where I spend most of my nights entertained with food and people watching. The hotel itself was great. The room and bed were even better. Just the right size. Valet parking is $40 bucks, which is a bit steep, but I guess that is what you pay... More

Elegant, classic hotel in downtown Denver that is walking distance to 2 great art museums. The hotel has a friendly staff that goes out of it's way to please. It has all the charm of the 19th century, yet with the modern conveniences we still expect. We would definitely stay here again.
