The Brown Palace Hotel takes you back to the silver rush in Denver. Awesome service...wide hallways to accomodate the womens fashions of the era and quaint luxury room. The staff was super helpful and the lobby happy hour is unmatched for entertainment and fare. If you are in downtown Denver this is the place to stay. Caveat! "It aint cheap!"...but... More

First be warned there is ongoing construction, but it is very unobtrusive. We had a room on 5 and never heard any noise, saw any dust, or saw any construction debris. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, but am knocking the rating down a notch because our duvet had a tear in it that resulted in feathers floating around... More

I feel this hotel deserves 3.5 but not quite four. As far as historic hotels are concerned, this is a wonderful property filled with relics from the past. Presidents have stayed here, the original owner was a Napoleon artifact collector (many pieces still remain in the hotel) and the tavern dates back to just after prohibition. Thus if you are... This place is truly a palace in the middle of downtown Denver. I just finished a vacation full of royal treatment and can't wait to return! I checked in late and was given keys to an amazingly beautiful room. Unfortunately, I had hoped for a room with a bathtub. I don't have one at home and was hoping to do... More

When I need to be downtown I pick BP. My history of staying here goes back at least 40 years. Never lost their culture of personal service and insistence on quality. Periodic upgrades keep the BP at the top of its game. I'm returning in two weeks.

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Brown to celebrate our anniversary. We got a good rate from an auction travel site, and were excited as we've stayed a lot of places downtown, but never at the Brown Palace. We arrived a little early for check in time, but the associate at the front desk that checked us in... More

If you are not a guest at the Brown Palace nor partaking of their bars or high tea, it is still possible to take a look around. That is exactly what I did today. Confidently walk through the front door (on Tremont St.), make a left and walk towards their Tavern. You will see escalators to your left as you... More

The Brown Palace is a classic hotel with charm, beauty and luxury. We enjoyed our night the end of February and really relished the rich history and ambiance. Our room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast at Ellyngton's was delicious. Thank you, Tucker, for your wonderful service. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had high tea and loved it ! The service is excellent and the presentation superb. The high tea is a treat and served between 11-4. We enjoyed life pianist and valet parking as there is limited street parking but many parking garages In the close vicinity

We stayed one night on the 4th floor. Room was very small. The shower was so small you could hardly turn around. Very noisy furnace. The location was nice. But other than that I felt like it was WAY over pričed. The woman working in the cigar bar was very rude, and not customer friendly!

Dear Unhappyguest, I was disappointed to learn that you did not enjoy your time with us and to learn that a member of our staff failed to display the warm and genuine service we are known for. Please be assured this behavior is not typical nor in keeping with the level of service we wish to provide. Your comments and... More
