The staff was horrible. They messed up badly and then tried to cover up their screwup. I've been dealing with Marriott corporate offices due to the management and staff of that hotel being incompetent. Save your money and nerves, there are plenty of hotels in that area where you will be treated right. I stay at Marriott hotels on a... more

The room was really spacious and comfortable. Had a one-bedroom suite, which gave some extra privacy while travelling with kids. The pool was small, but well-heated. Bonus for the freak April blizzard. Common areas appeared to be freshly redocorated and are very tasteful. However, there were a few maintenance issues, like burnt out lights and non-functioning exterior locks. I do... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend in Sept. We were vacationing in Denver to see the Denver Broncos & Colorado Rockies play back-to-back. We chose to stay at the Fairfield due to price, proximity to the Light Rail and easy public transport from the airport. At first glance on the map it looks like... more

In mid-May 2008 I stayed two nights in a standard room. Hotel is set back from busy Colorado Blvd., and it is a very convenient location for visiting Univ. of Denver. Cherry Creek shopping district is about a 10-minute drive away. (Anyone wanting to be in walking distance of the Cherry Creek shopping area should stay at the JW Marriott... more

We had a king suite for 3 of us. Room was ok, though very cramped once the sofabed was set up. Main issue we had was the lack of bedding for the extra bed - only one sheet and a blanket. When I queried it I was told this is a normal set and we ended up using the comforter... more

We went with a group of families so we would be close to Dave and Busters (2 blocks away) and then we could come back to the pool afterwards and wear the kids out and visit. The pool is small. The pool room is freezing and the kids could only be in there for 20 minutes. We asked if they... more

Stayed two nights, the first night was horrible, the second night was GREAT, that is why I gave it an average rating. Suggestion, request a room not on Colorado Blvd. if you are a light sleeper. Sorry so long, but you should know this before booking. First night had a king room facing Colorado Blvd. with a door to an... more

Just returned from a two night stay at this property. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the University of Denver. If you are visiting Denver strictly as a tourist, I would stay at a hotel downtown. The Fairfield Inn worked out fine for myself and my two daughters. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.... more
