The overwhelming number of positive reviews for the Curtis prompt me to add to the negative reviews. I came here because of the positives. Please read the negative reviews too. They are ALL true. This is not a great hotel to stay in if you want great service and a great night of sleep. As briefly as possible: the rooms... more

Wow - I am so sorry you had such a poor experience at the Curtis. Although not perfect, we generally pride ourselves on our service so I was especially disappointed to read you didn't think the staff was service-oriented (although nice and happy isn't all bad!). We are in the process of replacing some carpet throughout the hotel and have...

Great location. Walking distance to all of downtown. The staff was energized and fun. They also were helpful and delightful. We were overwhelmed by the incredible customer service we received. We stayed at the Hyatt the night before and received zero customer service and zero personality. They must hate their job. But not at The Curtis! They are happy people!... more

My stay at the Curtis was impeccable. The young and organized staff was quite helpful with everything that we needed. The front desk attendant even gave me his personal cell phone charger for the weekend. The location of the hotel is perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. The gym was also very nice. I had a great workout every morning... more

A downtown high rise hotel with comfortable clean rooms, nicely appointed. The "hip" decor left me cold but once you get past that it's just a well-situated above average hotel. I got two rooms for three nights on a blind bid at Priceline and for what I paid this was an outstanding value. The hotel does seem to attract partiers,... more

Overall, the hotel wasn't bad. It was in a great location in downtown, nice size room, good bath, very comfortable, BUT the overwhelming problem is the noise from the window air conditioner. Overnight, everytime the compressor turned on it sounded like a jet engine winding up, and the fan noise was always there. I've traveled to a lot of hotel... more

I think the website description and pictures make this place seem better than it is. The theme floors are really just a few changes in some pictures. The rooms are not really "theme rooms". The elevator has a clevor recording for each floor, which is kind of fun. We recieved a great room rate and being right downtown Denver, CO... more

My wife and I stayed at the Curtis for a wedding that was taking place in Denver. To start, the location of the hotel is great, right by Denver's 16th street and within walking distance of about anything downtown. The staff was friendly, although the restaurant, The Corner Office, had terribly slow service, but cheap happy hour drinks. The hotel... more

The hotel could come off as fun or as trying too hard, but my room was large for an urban hotel, the room was clean and well appointed. It is mostly a nicer standard hotel with some colorful accents. There were also good views of the mountains, though obviously not all rooms would have this. There are an impressive 4... more
