This hotel was recently purchased by another management group that has been in the process of renovation. From what I could tell, the only thing left is some landscaping in the courtyard that has no bearing on the accommodations. I heard they were planning a swimming pool, but there's not one now. An interesting aspect to this hotel was the... More

The room size for the two room suite is very large. The kitchen is very nice, however; you may need to request a few more dishes, etc. if you need them. The beds are very comfortable. The good quality gym equipment is worth the trip downstairs if you want to stay in shape while you are away. We found the... More

We stayed at the Timbers because it was close to DIA and cheaper than staying in downtown. It's located right by I-70 in an industrial area, so it certainly wasn't the most scenic hotel. The neighborhood is a bit rough, and the hotel appeared a bit run down from the outside. When we checked in we were initially given a... More

Our family stayed three nights. The motel is squished between the I-70 on ramp and McDonalds on a busy road. This motel has the feeling of college dorms. Pro: Great (deceptive) advertising. Large roomy rooms. Spacious and clean motel lobby. Very close to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Reserve. Cons: * Air conditioning did not work (blows warm air). *The first... More

The pictures make it look like a nice lodge in the woods. It's anything but. Peoria Street is busy and it's located in an industrial part of town. My first room overlooked the courtyard that was mostly weeds, dead grass, and a few small trees. The GM Luke promptly moved us to another room shortly after check in because the... More

This hotel could be awesome except for the air conditioning in the hallways and the rooms. Not the best smelling hallways, however the bed had awesome pillows and the bed is really comfortable with decent sheets. The kitchen has a good size refridgerator and dishes/pans/silverware. NIce table and comfortable chairs. No views at all and not the best part of... More

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. After a late arriving we checked in to our room, (studio type) The room was a nice size with a small "kitchen area"with a microwave oven and a small refrigerator. The next morning when we wanted to use the toilet and the shower we discovered the sliding room between the bathroom and bedroom... More

I have stayed there several times while receiving treatment at the University Cancer Center. Their rooms have been clean and comfortable with refrigerator, stove and microwave. They have friendly staff that remember me each time I stay. They shuttle me from DIA to the hotel and then to the University.

There are few 3-star hotels for under $100/night near the Denver airport. The Timbers fits the bill nicely. Rooms and lobby are clean and simply furnished. Beds are very comfortable. The attached bar and grill has a good menu and friendly service. The included breakfast has a limited menu, but omelettes are made to order. Location is about 20 minutes... More

21.f. A friend and I stayed in a king suite for a night while passing through. About 15 minute drive to downtown Denver! Impressed with the room for the price ranges. Is pretty quiet at night. So if you're looking for an affordable, quiet, and nice place to stay right outside of downtown, I would recommend!
