Stayed at Hotel VQ for 3 nights and was very pleased overall. Biggest drawback is traffic noise if you're on the east side of the hotel so be sure to ask for mountain views vs. city views. Otherwise, for the price you just can't beat it and everyone there is friendly and helpful. I'll stay again on my next trip. more

I was worried about staying at this hotel after reading over some of these reviews. I am happy to report to you that this hotel is VERY MUCH worth the money. The rooms were clean and restocked every morning, the front desk guy (frank) was tenative, as well as fun to converse with, and the free shuttles.....well that made the... more

We recently stayed here for a convention center venue for national qualifying volleyball tournament. The room was booked via the venue hotel reservation service and we trusted this would be ok. However, we have never been in such an awful hotel. While the lobby appeared ok, the room was horrible! It was dirty. We discovered someone's underwear under the bed!... more

First of all the price was right probably because there was no game on at Invesco stadium which is right across the parking lot. (And I recommend the guided tour of the stadium--interesting.) ----Staff friendly----room smelled OK, well kept---Food very attractively prepared, but I thought a little overpriced----shuttle service to downtown (which is about five minutes away) was great---note: parking... more

The staff was very nice and helpful, the shuttle was great for getting around downtown and the price was not bad. Our view was the Denver skyline and its just accross the street from the football stadium. Its not a fancy hotel but its not bad either. The room did smell funky we we first got in but it went... more

We traveled to Denver 3 times in 2008 for concerts and 2 of the trips we stayed at the VQ. Both times we had very good experiences! My boyfriend and I both work in high end hotels....but can't afford to stay in them! But working in high end hotels makes us a little snobby when it comes to service and... more

This was my first visit to Denver and to this hotel. The front desk staff always seemed to be in a hurry or distracted. The skybox staff was excellent. We had breakfast, dinner and drinks. The food was simply high priced for what you received. The rooms were clean and neat. My room was once a smoking room but now... more

We stayed here to attend a concert at the Bluebird theater on Colfax. It was fairly cheap, and close to 1-25 (no football game at Invesco) so I wasn't expecting much. The room was really cool, it's very old school 70's. Nothing terribly fancy---room was pretty spartan but very clean. We went to the bar/restaurant on the top floor and... more
