Ask for an updated room upon booking! Otherwise it's not worth it to stay there. I made the mistake of not doing so when I reserved our room, as on the website they only post pictures of the new rooms. Imagine our surprise when we got our room, the lobby is fantastic...however it goes down hill from there. As of... more

I am writing this review on my first of two nights at the Red Lion. I am very disappointed. My co-worker booked the hotel, and I thought it was a good price for what I saw on the website. Howver, I was turned off immeadiately upon entering the elevator. It was dirty and banged up. My room was right next... more

Stayed one night for a business trip. The hotel provides a free shuttle to/from the airport. The shuttle is shared with the Doubletree. The hotel also runs a free shuttle to the nearby shopping centers. The staff was polite but not overly friendly or helpful. The lobby is very nice. There's a fireplace and lots of cozy chairs and sofas.... more

We priced the Red Lion - Stapleton on Priceline for a total of $63/nt, which seemed like a pretty good deal until I read all these horror stories. However, the stories were not entirely true; Red Lion is certainly due for a room renovation, but it's not disgusting. It looks dingy as hell from the outside, but the lobby and... more

Husband is in the hospital in Denver so have been staying here on weekends. Front desk has always been helpful. It has been quiet at night. The Marine Ball and the Black & White Ball was there last weekend. Alot of people and it was still quiet. The young lady at the restuarant in the evening is one of the... more

One night stay in Oct . Nice lobby area, as others have stated. Did not use restaurant, but was able to buy snacks at the counter and bring up to room. Found that very convenient. Room had not been renovated, but it was in pretty good shape, bright, plus comfortable bed. We had inside room overlooking pool, and still heard... more

This is a basic hotel, nothing particularly special. It's currently undergoing a renovation, but my room had not been redone. I would hope that they will fix the hot water issue: it took forever to get any hot water and it never got particularly hot. But the one reason I'm not likely to stay there again involves the train. That... more

I had to attend an all-day class here. I was really nervous about making reservations for the night before (I live 2 hrs away) due to all the negative reviews I read on different websites. However, when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised to realize that I had stayed there a little over a year ago with my daughter... more

I discovered this Red Lion hotel on Quebec street because it shares the airport shuttle with the Hilton Doubletree. I have been here twice in winter and in summer on week-ends. There seems to be a regular budget seeking customer on the week-ends, mostly young families with van loads of kids, or college student athletes traveling to Colorado for competition.... more
