I was arriving late so the innkeeper called me to make sure I would be in an area that would have restaurants open for dinner as the restaurants in Del Norte close around 8 or 8:30. I thought this was very considerate. The innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating . The breakfast was fantastic. A very enjoyable stay.

Nice overall. Great hosts. We enjoyed visiting with Mark and Judy and chatting with them about their family and their history in Del Norte. They were warm and welcoming. It was a last minute reservation and worked out well in our travel plans. The room was comfortable and provided all we needed for our overnight stay.

I came down to Alamosa to take my comps test for my Master's degree and decided to make a mini vacation out of it. My pick of the Apple Lodge was the best I could have hoped for. After a three hour test, we drove to Del Norte and found the most peaceful relaxing atmosphere one could ever hope to... More

AppleLodge, just outside Del Norte, Colorado, provided an excellent stay for our May road trip. The hosts, Mark and Judy, are a friendly wealth of information about the area and Colorado in general. We stayed in the room with the Jacuzzi, which was clean and worked well. The entire room was very clean, and stocked with all the amenities we... More

We decided at the last minute to go skiing at Wolf Creek over the holidays and because all of our usual locations were full, we ended up at the Apple Lodge. The facilities are nice, but the shining star here are the owners, who did everything they could to make us feel at home. One of us ended up in... More

We were looking for a simple, quick one night stop between Denver and Mesa Verde, and found this lovely bed & breakfast with wonderful hosts, great breakfast, and delightful ambience. A great start to our 25th wedding anniversay trip and would highly recommend!

Everything from the hosts, room accomodations and breakfast was just perfect. The owners have decorated the rooms in a warm inviting way. We were upgraded at no additional charge because there was another room available. We were on our bicycles and Apple Lodge was right on the main route through town. The only down side to this lovely little inn... More

My wife and I were traveling through Colorado at their slow time, on a whim we called ahead and asked if they had any vacancy. They did. Trying to conserve money, we asked for the smallest cheapest room available. When we arrived, they had put us in their most expensive room, simply becasue they could. (at lower rate of course)... Driving from Estes Park to Durango, we stopped in Del Norte and found this really nice B&B. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but just the right distance for a place to rest before finishing the beautiful drive to our destination. The hosts were very helpful and our very neat room was fairly priced and more than... More

We stayed only one night. Nice little place. Friendly owners. The bed in the Macintosh room was kind of uncomfortable (the double), but the twin beds were fine. Good to have the common area so we could store our perishables from the cooler. Breakfast was good - perhaps add some fresh fruit? The B&B is close to Highway 160 so... More
