I went to the High Lonesome Ranch last week on a "business" trip with 15 other colleagues. Easy to say that the ranch blew away our expectations. Everything was top notch from the delicious food to the beautiful scenery. The ranch provides plenty of activities to accommodate just about anybody. The fishing was fantastic. Guides are provided by the ranch... More

Have been here several times and loved every minute! The staff is excellent and each area, Castle Rock Camp, The Homestead, the Pond House, Forshay Cabin and K-T in Meeker where we've stayed is stellar and far beyond expectations!. Excellent food and presentation, Guides are warm and courteous and really take the time to "personalize" for each participant and each... More

There were tears when our family of 5 had to leave The High Lonesome ranch. That's because it is a beautiful place, with wonderful amenities, but most of all the staff are amazing. The level of service was 5 star yet they manage to make you feel like a big family. We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom wooden cottage.... More

Just got back from a week stay at the Ranch with 12 of us in total. Ages from 5 to mid 60's. The ranch exceeded our every expectation. Everyday was a new adventure and the wonderful staff made sure each adventure was the best experience possible. Lots of "firsts" for our family and especially the kids. From learning how to... More

The High Lonesome Ranch was fantastic, to say the least. Every single detail, moment, experience was perfect. From fly fishing, to horse back riding, to shooting clay pigeons, to hiking, to the five star out-of-this-world gourmet food and wine, to the excellent, knowledgeable, kind and fun staff, you bet I will be going back to the ranch as soon as... We visited HLR this past week and had an outstanding and memorable time. The fly fishing and shooting were great. Aunt Linda's breakfasts and Matts dinners are five star ! The accommodations and whole staff are excellent. This was our first visit and I can't say enough positive things about our visit. I would highly recommend HLR !!

This Spring I took advantage of a special offer for a Cast and Blast package at the High Lonesome Ranch - a combination of a turkey hunt and fly fishing. This was my ninth year visiting the High Lonesome Ranch, and each visit seems better than the last. After checking in and getting settled at the Creekside Cabin, I met... More

Outstanding accommodations, dinning, and fly fishing experience. This was my 5 year visiting the Ranch and I plan to return. Friendly personal and attention to the details of your experience makes this a perfect getaway. Good for couples, families, and anyone who loved the outdoors.

From the beautiful scenery, to the phenomenal food, to the excellent facilities and wonderful wildlife, the High Lonesome Ranch is a truly spectacular venue. However, by far and away the most important and impressive feature of my stay was the staff. Every single person employed at the ranch could not go out of their way enough to ensure that you...
