Spent a week hunting cow elk with my father and brother. Accommodations are spectacular, better than any hotel/condo I've ever visited. Views and wildlife are abundant. Staff is professional and courteous - willing to do anything to help you. Food is outstanding. Your own personal chef for the week. Yes, we were on a hunting trip, but this was the... More

In comparison to other outfitters and lodges in Colorado, the High Lonesome Ranch wins hands down on all counts. Scott the general mgr instills an unusally high level of service in the place...not found in a... More

The staff is over the top friendly and makes you feel like family. We spent a day and half horseback riding and the wranglers were great. Very knowledgable about horses as well... More

I had the pleasure of a long weekend to visit High Lonesome Ranch and it's sister ranch, the K barT in Meeker. Each ranch offers very different fishing venues but one thing they share are big, hungry trout. I caught many hefty gerth rainbow and brown trout, who were willing to take dry flies. My guide for the weekend was... More
