Spent a week hunting cow elk with my father and brother. Accommodations are spectacular, better than any hotel/condo I've ever visited. Views and wildlife are abundant. In comparison to other outfitters and lodges in Colorado, the High Lonesome Ranch wins hands down on all counts. The views were stunning, the wildlife was right outside the lodge (deer, elk, diverse songbirds and raptors), and the hunting was spectacular! I've stayed here four times for different hunting trips. The entire experience is top notch...but most importantly the staff is fantastic. We just finished a seven night stay at high lonesome; we are a family of five with three kids ages 13, 15 and 17. The ranch is awesome! I had the pleasure of a long weekend to visit High Lonesome Ranch and it's sister ranch, the K barT in Meeker.
