Just finished a week long stay at this B&B and we simply loved it. Just minutes away from Cripple Creek, the hosts Peggy and Mark were very friendly and accommodating, a very large house with a wrap-around deck with the best view you will find anywhere! Breakfasts were delicious with PLENTY to eat. The only thing we found that wasn't... More

Stayed here a week with my family gathering. It had enough space for all of us and then some. We even had a fun time playing pool in the basement. Spending time on the porch in the morning was my favorite thing about this place. You could watch the sun hit the mountains. The wifi worked ok if you were... More

My husband and I are always looking for a great getaway. With children at home, and a weekend escape a few times a year is just what the doctor ordered. My main criteria is romance. Whispering Pines fills that requirement beautifully. We were met as we were pulling into the parking area by Mark, who greeted us and immediately shared... More

Whispering Pines in Cripple Creek was a wonderful experience for us and we would recommend to anyone wanting beautiful views, privacy and a gorgeous room, ohhhh the breakfasts were AMAZING! Every morning we had a fruit mix topped with homemade whipped cream and granola. (it was a perfect blend) then a our main dish always included bacon and 1st morning... More

Back story: On a whim, my husband and I decided to drive out to Cripple Creek to try our hand at the casinos'. While on our way from Manitou Springs to Cripple Creek, the alternator in car started to go and it was shutting off while we were on HWY 67 (scary mountains in the dark.) Anyway, we managed to... My wife and I and our two boys stayed at Whispering Pines on July 29th of 2013.To start off we have a SUV and we were lucky to make it up their lane. When we arrived around 4:45 p.m. they had us wait in their basement for 45 minutes while they got our rooms ready. When we did get our... More

My Husband and I came to Whispering Pines for a quick weekend getaway and we were delighted with the accommodations. Perched upon a hill side, this B&B has beautiful views during the day and at night one can observe the lights of Canon City, Colorado in the far distance. There is a long wraparound porch that has ample seating. In... More

A beautiful place. The quiet and wildlife are addictive attractions at this off-the-beaten-track B&B. Mark and Peggy are warm and welcoming hosts who take the time to get to know their guests. We are from the Colorado Springs area, but had family visiting from out of town who wanted to see Cripple Creek and all the attractions. It was difficult... More

We have stayed in the Mountain suite and what a pleasure that was!!! Everything you could ask for and more. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped out of the car with Mark there to personally greet us. A lovely gesture was the hand written message welcoming us and other guests staying with us, a great way to know... More
