A charming well kept and clean establishment with friendly staff. Had a delightful prepared quality breakfast presented with art of love by the Chef. Had a chance to view the individual rooms and each are charming and clean. The owners have done a great job of making this old school house into a 4 star Bed and Breakfast. Will stay... More

I took some friends from out of town to see the ice sculptures and went for a bite to eat after. When we came out of the restaurant it was snowing. We decided to head back to canon city. Not even halfway there, there were several cars blocking the road because they couldn't make it up the hill. We picked... More

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary at the Carr Manor. We enjoyed this visit just as much as our first visit. We had an amazing massage by Sandy. Rooms where great, clean and nice change to a standard hotel room. This Bed and Breakfast has a lot of character! We'll visit again soon!

My wife and I recently stayed at Carr Manor. This wasn't our first stay there and we have previously had nothing but positive experiences, however this experience wasn't so good. We didn't complain, however the owner sent me an email after our visit and invited comments, good or bad, so we took the opportunity to explain why our stay wasn't... More

Please accept my apologies, for replying to your email in a way that offended you. That was not my intent. As I said in my email to you. You raised a valid concern that the ambient light in room 1 was disturbing to you. With over 10 years of renting this room, there have been a few that have expressed... More

Carr Manor is a beautiful, well-run inn. The breakfast was very good and the innkeepers were helpful with recommendations. Two separate couples were there who had brought their friends. The bed was a too soft for me, but I realize that's a subjective thing. Also, be aware that like many places full sized beds are labeled as queens. But, it... More

I repeat what all others state -- but this is THE place to stay in Cripple Creek. Howard's breakfasts are to die for AND he shares recipes. This is a perfectly restored school house with extensive historical artifacts on the town as well as sculptures that reflect the school children of yesteryear. NOT to be missed

My husband and I stayed at the Carr Manor (formerly the high school) for a weekend getaway. Wow!! We have stayed in many B&Bs and this was one of the best. We stayed in the Principal's Office...very fun. The rooms were decorated very tastefully. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely go back.

The Carr Manor and delightful innkeepers (Howard & Linda) surpassed my every expectation! I had read the great reviews, but still wasn't prepared for such a lovely stay. It was a First Class experience from the moment we walked in the door. We received a tour of the old High School...you can still tell it was a school, but it's... More

I have stayed in Cripple Creek a lot but this was my first time at Carr Manor. I will never stay anywhere else! The red brick building used to be a high school. It has been converted to a beautiful and very comfortable B&B. The interior is elegant with beautiful woodwork and staircases and the rooms are attractive and very... More
