The Carr Manor and delightful innkeepers (Howard & Linda) surpassed my every expectation! I had read the great reviews, but still wasn't prepared for such a lovely stay. It was a First Class experience from the moment we walked in the door. We received a tour of the old High School...you can still tell it was a school, but it's... More

My husband and I decided to go to Cripple Creek to check on some family history. I searched the internet and found Carr Manor and what a find it was. We were treated as royalty! A wonderful tour upon arrival, not too long not too short! The rooms are beautiful, elegantly furnished, bed was so comfortable. Each morning we were... More

I have stayed in Cripple Creek a lot but this was my first time at Carr Manor. I will never stay anywhere else! The red brick building used to be a high school. It has been converted to a beautiful and very comfortable B&B. The interior is elegant with beautiful woodwork and staircases and the rooms are attractive and very... More

It's hard to say what was the best part of staying at Carr Manor. It's an historical, beautiful building. The managers Linda and Howard were the best. Every morning we were served a wonderful breakfast fit for a king. In the afternoon there's fresh cookies. The hotel is immaculate. The rooms are beautiful. Feels like home. Great location. We will... More

Three ladies spent the past two nights at Carr Manor in Cripple Creek, Co. What a great B&B with all the amenities, lovely period furniture, and Linda and her husband the perfect hosts. Awakening to his scrumptious breakfast and their awesome hospitality starts the day off right. So many tours, beautiful views and fun people! We booked two additional trips... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Carr Manor Inn every year for about the last 7 years. We are not people who go back to a place often but rather go to a new place we haven't seen before. We like the Carr Manor so much we just keep coming back. The history of the place has been... More

Cripple Creek is fun and interesting- a bit off the beaten path and a lot to do and see. This inn made the trip, though! Easy parking, great location, gorgeous renovation, courteous hosts and all the bells and whistles and niceties without any stuffiness! Wonderful hot breakfast, coffee 24 hours a day in the great room, wine glasses there as... More

What a beautiful, historic building this was. Lynda, who checked us in, gave us a tour and was so knowledgeable. Our room was very comfortable and inviting (we stayed in the Jack Dempsey room and learned a lot about him!). I was a bit wary of the fact that there is no air conditioning in the building, but that turned... More

The room was beautiful, the food equal to any gourmet restaurant and the ambiance perfect. Thank you for making my stay wonderful! The location was perfect, being only steps from the center of Cripple Creek and the casinos. The staff were very warm, friendly and accommodating. The whole stay was lovely.

We stayed at Carr Manor July 13-15. The hotel/former high school, is a beautifully restored building and we enjoyed getting to see the influences of the high school like the old chalkboards dotted throughout and the original woodwork. It's lovely. Our room was on the East side and it gets a little warm in the morning when the sun is... More
