I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel and casino. Some of the reviews posted were negative, if not a bit nit picky. The area is gorgeous, and the drive was fantastic. This hotel was very inviting, and the casino was well decorated. My husband said it felt like being on a glitzy cruise ship! The room was... More

If I didn't know better, I would have guessed that it was 1995 instead of 2015. The standard amenities of other hotels of this caliber were forgotten at the Double Eagle. There was no conditioner for the shower, there were only two pillows on the bed, the tv was an old-fashioned CRT with a tiny screen, and there were only... More

Visited with tour bus.A pleasant surprise and unexpected. The rooms are clean and small, but the beds are great. The breakfast is free and the restaurant has good food at a reasonable cost. There are many casinos all within walking distance. The casinos offer free play and you can gamble all you want. The slots were the latest on the market.Payback is good.Cripple Creek offers many... This was the first time my wife and I have stayed in Cripple Creek and your choices are somewhat limited. Check-in was a breeze and all we had to do was gamble for about 30 minutes and on Friday they had seafood buffet with all you can eat crab legs for FREE and a great variety of other fish (red... We stayed in the king bed room, there wasn't a lot of room but the room was very quiet, nicely appointed, clean and very reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. It is at the end of Bennett Street though, which means you have to walk a ways to other restaurants or casinos. At 9500... More

We spent two nights here on our trip to catch the fall colors in the Rockies. It was our first visit to Cripple Creek. The rooms were easy to access once you were in the hotel and the casino and restaurant were just off the elevator. Main street was under re-construction while we were here making it a little more... The place is a great value for your money. If you get just 100 base points on your player card (easy to do), dinner is free. Breakfast is free (up to $10 but all menu items within price range) when you stay. The staff is awesome!! There is a deli with all kinds of hot foods open till 2:00 am.... More

Other than the parking confusion, This was a really nice place. The rooms are small but really nice and comfortable. Breakfast was free and terrific. It was a wonderful little experience and I would do it again at any time. Loved this.
