We have stayed at the Hospitality House on numerous occasions over the last 5 years. We typically stay on the top floor for the reasons previously noted. Rooms are very clean, as well as the lobby, front porch and sun rooms. Beds while very soft are comfortable. Bathrooms can be a tiny bit small, but I usually find some place... More

This is a place we have stayed many times. The history and restoration of the building is great. The beds are very comfortable. We've stayed in almost every room through the years. #15 is our favorite. This is the room we had this year. The hotel has had some recent maintenance that even improves the atmosphere. Windows all shiny clean... More

We stayed two nights and thought we had the best deal in town. If stairs are not a problem, get a room on the second floor. All the casinos run shuttles out to pick you up so you do not have to worry about parking downtown. Never had to wait more than ten minutes for a shuttle. Brekfast was rolls,... More

This place is very neat and rustic, However we were rudely awakened at 2 AM when some guests arrived late and were checking in, they were Loud and so was the Clerk on duty ! You would think that Adults would know better than to be Loud and carry on a 20 minute conversation while other guests are sleeping !... More

The next morning...early.... outside our door in the hallway young kids (3-5 years old) were screaming and a bunch of adults were talking loudly nonstop for a long time. Finally I went out there after everything went quiet and asked were did the party go??? The lady behind the desk thought it was funny....I think it was very inconsiderate and... More

Stayed at the hospitality house several yr ago. It was great! Character, quaint, reasonable, fun. But last time we tried they said they weren't renting rooms. We were sad. Ended up at a similar place, yet not same atmosphere, in town. Too bad. It sure had history. Not sure if they're back in business or not. This was several years... More

The Hosptitality House is a nice place to be. However, we stayed in room 11 which happens to have no ventilation at all. Got very hot and no a/c. The room is very small and the bath is under the stairway, very tight. I guess in the winter this might be a plus but not in the middle of summer.... More

Lovely grounds in the north part of the city of Cripple Creek complete with antique historical hotel converted from the original hospital of Teller County and large rv camping park. Far enough away from the noise and bustle of the downtown tourist throngs with great views of the town and surrounding mountains with free shuttle pickups to many of the... More

The Hospitality House is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and willing to help. We were given a room with a queen bed and a single bed along with a private bath. The room was very spacious and comfortable; this worked out great for me, my spouse and our 20 year old son. They also provide a... More

Hard to know whether to call this a "hotel review" or an "attraction review" because I could hardly stay in my room - I wanted to explore every corner, leave my door open and have other guests visit me. Hospitality House is a former hospital converted to a hotel. Each door is labeled with its original function and many hospital... More
