we stayed on a whim, after having a long trip on the self road from canon city. we actually had a room waiting for us in canon, but the ladies were so nice about us deciding to stay late at night. such a great peek into the past, wish we could have stayed longer.

I've read others' reviews and the owners' responses and would agree that CCHH&TP is a unique - rustic, museum-like lodging experience, therefore, we weren't expecting 5 Star Amenities. As Coloradans, we've been going to Cripple Creek off and on since the late 90's and this time wanted to stay off the beaten path and not in a casino. So here's... More

We stayed at the Cripple Creek Hospitality House over the past weekend and the stay was absolutely perfect and the staff second to none. We were greeted pleasantly upon arrival, checked in very quickly, and found our room to be perfect. The building is a late 1800's hospital that has been converted into a type of bed and breakfast. The... More

Our stay at Cripple Creek Hospitality House was great!  Each room has a name posted on the outside representing what it was used for when it was a functioning hospital and interesting historical information everywhere.  We stayed in the outpatient room which was really large and had an outside entrance with a porch.  The entire place had great Victorian charm... We drove Tulsa Ok for this vacation. My husband's birthday we celebrate every year with a trip. I was very happy to find this place. They had balloons and a gift for him in room. How great was that!? They room is large ( nurses station )and very clean. The only complaint he had was no air conditioning, but once... More

Have stayed at this facility in an RV on two different occasions. It is a rather small but very nice park with considerable history associated with it. The RV portion of the facility is not very large and there are virtually no amenities, however; most people who stay there do so to be close to Cripple Creek proper. Would be... More

Price was very affordable, clean and comfortable B&B. Breakfast was horrible- store bought pastries, cereal, . Had I known that is what the breakfast was going to be I would have choos3en another spot. Went and purchased a good breakfast at a restaurant. Enjoyed that it was away from casinos and noise.

As noted in previous responses, we are a Hotel, not a B&B. As a Hotel, the complementary continental breakfast items we provide have been expanded to include bakery-prepared pastries, oatmeal, cereal, fresh bread choices, granola bars, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. We're confident the choices we provide far exceed a standard continental breakfast menu and meet the vast... More

When we stayed at this hotel, I was told they would try to accommodate by food allergies for breakfast. Too funny--there was no breakfast. When we went downstairs, there was a coffee maker and a basket of cheap muffins in wrappers. That was it. I did not find the staff very friendly or accommodating. If you want to stay at... More

Since your stay at the Cripple Creek Hospitality House & Travel Park 10 months ago, we have expanded our breakfast choices to include items for guests with specific needs. We favor high energy/protein items as a standard, but do our very best to accommodate specific food requests whenever possible. Our staff is second to none and we couldn’t be more... More
