Loved my stay because this is an old Victorian style hotel that has been restored to its past glory in "downtown" Cripple Creek BUT with bathrooms added. I loved the architectural features and the ambience. I had a small queen room which was indeed small BUT this was not a problem for me since I was traveling solo and mainly... More

We loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious with modern conveniences. We did not feel like the owners took the cheap route in any way. All of the staff were very nice. My husband had the meat Lasagne which he enjoyed very much. We also liked the way the bread was served. The Caesar salads were overdressed and soggy. Shrimp... More

Hotel has been beautifully remodeled to keep old time charm and feel. No AC or elevator, but it is a high altitude, old mountain town. Windows and ceiling fan kept room comfortable and I usually am very hot natured. Beds are very comfortable. Not much of a view from our rooms 48, 49. Red Rooster Bar was nice and we... More

The Imperial Hotel Restaurant is a wonderful period hotel full of eclectic antiques and amazing Italian food. Hands down they have the best lasagna I've ever eaten and we've driven from Denver just to have dinner twice. The portions are generous and the pricing is ridiculously inexpensive for the quality and quantity of food. The wait staff are very friendly... More

Very nice place for a stay. The room was quiet and clean and comfortable. We were only there for a night, but we did enjoy. Cripple creek as a town is very small, so you park once at their ample parking lot and walk everywhere. If you have issues with stairs, you may want to call first to ask about... More

Comfortable, clean, and well done renovations. The rooms now have their own bathrooms and sitting room. The bed was super comfortable (which I find is extremely rare!). Bed was also very tall, but well worth the climb. :-) Great little bar in the lobby to meet with friends. We didn't eat at the restaurant but had appetizers in the bar... More

Great Hotel - Great Room - Very Clean - Great Value & Pleasant Staff! Never had a complaint with the way the rooms have been cleaned - never had any issues with theft on overnight stays, never had any issue with loud noise, and always had a pleasant stay!

We stayed two nights here and it was not like the hotels of today. If you like history, this is the place to stay. The entry and hallways make you feel like you are back in time. The rooms are small but that's how it must have been back then. A very short walk to Bennett St. I would definitely... More

We always enjoyed the restaurant at the Imperial Hotel, but hadn't been there since the closure. We saw a sign while walking around, that they were now open and decided to give it a try. The inside of the restaurant ( and we understand the hotel as well) is beautiful inside! Faux tin ceilings, new floor coverings tastefully done with... More

Spending the night in Cripple Creek was not our intention, but we were happy we did it. Finding out that the hotel was haunted was an extra fun adventure as we were awakened by yells in the night that were unexplained. Giving us a new topic to discuss on the road. The city it self has a whole lot to... More
