I officially got to stay in this hotel with the newly renovated rooms under the new owners. I must say I really enjoyed my stay. Made me feel like I was at home. Nice and friendly staff and the new rooms were great ! Can't wait to stay again

We were excited to hear the Imperial had gone through a complete renovation and were excited to see it after first staying there 14 years ago. We were also excited that it was purchased and renovated by the owners of the beautiful Carr Manor. We were disappointed. The first impression was not the best. We walked in and had to... More

We stayed one night here on our anniversary weekend and although it is a historic hotel, pretty when you walk in, the stay is just not what we expected. The front desk was unattended from the time we checked in and every time we passed by. There are no elevators to the rooms, so if you have bad knees, I... More

A very nice historic hotel, however no one to ck most of the time if you have a room problem. When we visited it was unusually hot and no AC, room updated, very nice, but problem with sleeping, windows open, no screens , windows not moveable, ceiling fan was big problem, could only keep it on low speed because it... We just stopped in one afternoon to have lunch. There food was really very good. They serve Italian food at a good value. I had lasagna which was quite tastey. My wife had pasta primavera which was good too. It's historical ambience is also very intriguing. We look forward to returning some time to stay the night.

The only negative thing to say is that we only had one night to stay at The Imperial Hotel. Hopefully, in the near future, my husband and I can spend more time here as it is a delightful place to visit. The rooms have been refurbished, and the historic charm still surrounds its guests. We stayed in Room 43 which... More

Antique furnishings in a historic building with private baths newly installed and personal climate control. Comfortable bed. The staff very warm and friendly. We got a free breakfast that was anything off the menu and were greeted just as genuinely at that cafe. Parking was easy and close. I can imagine during the summer there may be some noise outside,... I must say, it if wasn't for a super friendly and hard working housekeeper I would have given this hotel a major thumbs down. We stayed here this past weekend, but sadly we were given the smallest room. It was like staying in a closet with a toddler size bed and decor that looked like it had been given all... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Imperial Hotel this last weekend. What a treat! Before we even went to our room, we spent a great deal of time just walking around enjoying the atmosphere. This hotel has been renovated and no expense was spared. The ceramic tile work in the restrooms downstairs and in the... More

I recently spent a night at the Imperial, and I must say that it brought back many precious memories. Although the excitement of brunch at the restaurant and melodrama at the Gold Bar Theatre are gone, Gary has preserved a semblance of the "old days." Our room was comfortable and clean, and we appreciated the privacy of our own bathroom.... More
