Spent Friday & Saturday September 20-21, 2014 at hotel, as title states these rooms are basic. The beds, bedding & pillows are clean and comfortable, the room’s water pressure & heating was fine, & front desk along with housekeeping were pleasant & friendly. The reason i rated in 4 instead of 5 was that our room had a peculiar smell.

My wife and I were disappointed in the hotel offerings in Cripple Creek. The casinos have very nice rooms but are a bit on the spendy side, which if you're there mainly for the gambling is probably OK. But while we did enjoy some of the casinos, we were there primarily for the history of this old mountain west mining... More

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Disappointed that there were no coffee pots in the rooms. Would really like to see some type of continental breakfast served. Being that that hotel is located several blocks from the action of downtown, it was nice that there was a shuttle service. The front desk attendant would make the call when we were ready... More

Cripple Creek is an expensive town to stay in. The Cripple Creek Inn is one of the less expensive motels. It is clean and quiet; not fancy, but we just wanted a decent place to stay while we explored the town.

We went to Cripple Creek for the Ice Festival. I called around and found this great deal. We had to book it thru Bronco Billy's Casino, but it included a free dinner for 2 & free breakfast for 2 at Bronco Billy's Home Cafe.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, water was hot, and the hotel is away from the hustle of downtown. I liked it, as long as I didn't have to deal with the receptionist(s). Upon arriving, we had to deal with, what my wife called, a "surly" receptionist. She didn't offer anything, and gave up what was asked of her with an... More

I would highly recommend the Cripple Creek Inn if you plan on staying in cripple creek for a weekend of gambling and relaxation. It is within walking distance to the casino strip, it is a great value, the staff was friendly and very accomodating, the room was clean and comfortable.

Several of the casino hotels (and two of the casinos themselves) are actually closed. down. Those left were unappealing in looks and smell and we were losing heart. So, we considered ourselves lucky to stumble on the Cripple Creek Inn three blocks behind the Palace Hotel Dining Room. Our room was clean, quiet, and with a window to the corner... More
