Have stayed here on several occassions and the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The real treasure at the Midnight Rose is the dining at the "Down Under". The buffet is stocked with excellent fresh shrimp, crab legs, prime rib, etc. The dining room has a pleasing and quiet atmosphere and the friendly attentive waiters make the dining experience... Even with discount, it was just over $100.00 for a single on a weekday, and the room didn't have a microwave, refrigerator, or safe box. The doors have a strong hydraulic pump, which causes the door to shut with a good bit of noise, but oh well, at least you know it is shut. Over all my room was actually... More

I'm rating the room we stayed in, and have no knowledge of others. Tiny beyond belief. The bathroom, toilet and shower, was just way too small. One chair(no arms) for the two of us. No fridge. It was clean, and the cleaning folks did a good job. Given the size of the room, it would not have taken very long. The... More

We were able to overlook the old building. We call that quaint. We had a non-smoking room. Next door was a smoking room. Perhaps the building is so old the smoke infiltrated into our room? The room was small, and a bit uncomfortable because of noise. A bit pricey for what you get. The hotel was full and we could... More

We stayed at the Midnight Rose for Christmas and it was a great stay. Our room was a king non smoking with a view of Bennett Street. It was available on time and was clean and the bed was comfy! We had a flat screen TV and the room was a great value for our money! We also were given... More

I’ve stayed at this hotel casino several times because they comped me. The rooms were nice and clean. There are three or four restaurants connected with this casino. I usually eat at Dynamite Dicks and the food is ok, nothing spectacular. I usually play video poker and really have never left with more than I came up with. They have... More

I compared all the hotels in Cripple Creek: prices, amenities, etc. My goal was to have a nice, all-inclusive getaway for my hubby's birthday. We arrived, checked in quickly, and had a very nice dinner at the JP McGills Pub (thank you Midnight Rose for the discount on our meals). We had a blast at the casinos, meandering through town... The room was a bit on the small side but it was clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable. The water got hot and didn't make me feel like a slip&slide. The video poker machines were a pleasant surprise because you didn't have to keep feeding them. The drink service was excellent, asked if the coffee was fresh... More

We stayed 2 years ago (late on getting review in). Room was a little small, but for the price, it was worth it. We had fun gambling, drinking, and eating the entire evening. We would stay there again when we plan our next trip. The only down side, is that they would not let you check in until the exact... More

Was able to get a king room overlooking the main street in Cripple Creek the Thursday before the Labor Day weekend. The reservationist really worked hard to find the room. Check-in is at their co-owned property. You pick up the luggage cart there, then walk through their parking garage to the entrance of the Midnight Rose. The room was spacious,... More
