What can you say about Crested Butte, except that it's world class skiing with spectacular views. As a Front Range native I snagged a $40 all day adult lift ticket deal. Located in southwest Colorado you tend to avoid the crowds seen at ski areas closer to Denver. I'm mostly a blue slope skier. There are plenty of runs to... More

We rented our spot for a long weekend. We had 2 bed/2 bath. It was nice place, convenient walk to slopes. Fortunately this weekend, was the first major powder for the mountain. Loved to shuttle to town. Did not have to move the car. The hike up the mountain to the slopes was tough with ski boots. Fortunately the rental... More

I rented a 1 bed/1 bath which I believe was Unit 308 in Axtel condos for 3 nights. It was advertised for 4 people so since we were only 2 we assumed we would be fine. Wrong...the sleeper sofa was so thin and cheap that the springs dug into my back and I am a petite person. Not much sleep... More

Nice place, convenient to the mountain and the gondola for hiking. Quick drive into downtown where parking is a bit tricky but lots of very good restaurants. The restaurant across the courtyard was excellent. Nice relaxing weekend

Thanks for the lovely review. We are glad you had an enjoyable time and we hope you will come back soon for a visit. Next time try the Mountain Express bus that you can pick up in the courtyard to ride down to town instead of driving. It runs every 20 minutes and drops you off throughout town. More

I live in Boulder, CO and have traveled to most ski resorts in Colorado. This is where you want to ski. This year I came with my family (two boys 8 & 11 along with my wife) and separately with friends. With the family there is plentiful greens and blues to skis along with some good entry level black diamond... More

We are adding some more glading for intermediate/more advanced skiers off of the East River Lift for this season and looking forward to having our advanced skiers and riders explore more of Teocalli 2 Bowl. I went to Crested Butte in march of this year, and was fortunate enough to stay for 3 whole weeks. The mountain has some great trails, a lot of technical double blacks, and fun blues that you can blast down full speed. There are a few spots on the mountain to grab drinks and food. At the base of the... More

We have been coming to Crested Butte for years - always staying near the base. The Alpine condo was the only thing available with two bedrooms, so I booked it. Location is pretty good - right across the street from Mountaineer Lodge. The condo was run-down and poorly stocked. I had difficulty preparing meals with the pans etc, provided. There... More
