The Lodge at Mountaineer Square seems to me to have hit upon those elements that are critical to running a successful lodging operation at Crested Butte. Whether in the summer or winter season, Crested Butte is not the kind of place where you are going to want to ensconce yourself in your room; consequently, most visitors to the area do... More

We stayed here while we were in town for a wedding! Fantastic hotel - no complaints at all. We had the full kitchen with living room and there were doors separating it from the bedroom which was great! For our family of 3, it was the perfect size. We checked in really late and the night manager was so helpful... More

Crested Butte is my favorite location in Colorado and the Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. We have visited their twice with friends. The rooms are great, as is the entire hotel. It is so convenient and offers many things for their guests. If you ski, it is right at the lifts. The staff there could not be anymore... More

Everything here was great. The room was very well furnished and everything you could want was there. The health club was nice (although who needs it when you are skiing all day). The location was wonderful and the Camp 4 Coffee was the best I have had anywhere. The parking was also very convenient.

My family of four just returned from the Lodge at Mountaineer Square. We used CBMR.com for reservations, and there were no problems at check in. Our lift tickets, ski school, etc, were waiting for us. Room: Our room was a 2 bedroom; it was supposed to have only 2 baths, but we were given one with three. Beds were quite... More

Went here for business and was pleasantly surprised. Stayed in a suite with washer/dryer, stove, microwave, frig, sink, coffee maker, fireplace, Room 218. Very self-contained. Room was spacious and well stocked. It's a little pricey during ski season, but I would like to come back for a vacation and stay here. The only thing I didn't like was the comforter... More

Loved the mountaineer square hotel! Everything went very smoothly. They went above and beyond to please you and made sure everything went well. Loved the rooms and service! A big thanks to Michele and Adam for lining everything up for us. They helped us throughout the Week with dinner reservations, and anything else we needed. Free bus service to town... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The condo unit was well equiped although if you do stay here, make sure you are away from the road because the snow plough starts clearing the snow around 6.30am and beeps everytime it reverses!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge despite some issues during our stay - which were all resolved very professionally. Our room, a studio deluxe (514), was on the 5th floor with views over the slopes. The room was exceptionally well provisioned and very comfortable. During our stay we had some issues with snow removal trucks operating through the... More

this hotel was amazing on all fronts: service, comfort, location, decor, swimming pool... management went out of their way to make us feel great, from Heather to the rest of the staff! Rooms are quiet, views are great. Hospitality at its best!
